I first discovered the fun and challenges of genealogical research just in 2010, starting with a tree sent by a cousin in England. Since then I have been on a mission to find as many family members, both dead and alive, as I can. I have connected with living cousins all over the country and even new ones in the UK.

More recently I've obtained extensive genealogical notes from my paternal great-grandmother that she accumulated over her 97 years. I'm on a mission to find and connect them on FAG as I add them to my tree. It has gone from 0 to 2063 people in just over a year with her help!

It has been a fascinating journey!! I am pulling together family info to share in several ways, including virtual cemeteries here, geni trees and google sites. I am happy to help anyone else when I visit cemeteries containing my family and/or nearby my home if I can.

Major family lines include Alkes/Elkes, Klepper, and Fenster from Europe; Knapp, Becroft, Burbidge, Nott, Clark, Summers, Whittaker and Williams from CT; Culver, Ford and Kuykendall out west; and Archambault, Marcher, Provost, Nolan, Flanders from VT. I'm hoping my efforts here serve generations to come. Special thanks to Barb Destromp in VT and Jan Franco in CT who have created so many of my family memorials before I knew they were family!! Barb in particular has made hundreds of corrections for me I think!

I haven't created many that are not my family or friends but I'd be happy to transfer to someone who wants to take good care of them.

Happy Family Hunting!
