I am a retired office worker and live in Brandon Manitoba and genealogy has been my main hobby (addiction) for many years. It all started by wandering our local cemetery and noticing so many old headstones - so I started taking photos of them - this led me to "find a grave" and I have entered many of our older stones. This led to another old cemetery in the area (burials prior to 1925), and then out to the smaller towns around Brandon and to many areas of the world where my ancestors had lived. They came from Northern Ireland, England and Scotland.
My family tree is extensive, but my main lines are Montgomery, Barton, Rixon, Bothwell and Nicholson.
