Bio

My name is Halley Bronson Lewis, III, and I been researching my family roots for the past two decades. I am an 11th-generation Floridian as my ancestors show up as Florida residents in the 1793 Spanish census of East Florida. They then settled in Columbia, Alachua and Levy counties long before Florida became a state in 1845. My main project has been to accumulate and document every descendant of Brunson L. Lewis (1810-1876), who came to Florida in 1837 to fight in the Second Indian War. I am happy to share this tree with anyone who is interested!
