Bio

I retired from my career as a medical transcriptionist in 2008, and now work in the Foster Grandparent program, donating 20 hours per week at a local elementary school, primarily working with children in grades 3-5. I love helping the children find joy and satisfaction in learning and nurturing their innate desire to do well. I relish the opportunity Foster Grandparenting affords in developing trusting relationships with children from a wide social spectrum.

I was so excited to be introduced to Find-A-Grave by my friend Kathy. It has been a source of great joy to me to find so many ancestors on this site. The information is priceless as it has helped me "grow" my family tree.
