My Father
Debbie, I have requested several times for you to transfer my father's memorial to me. Every time, you ask me for more information which I have provided you via email, yet you still will not transfer it to me. I don't understand since you do not even know my father or anyone in my family!

Hello, again. It's now been about a month - perhaps more- and I have not heard from your sister (or is it sister-in-law?). I would greatly appreciate a gently reminder to her that I'm eagerly anticipating hearing from her.

Thank you for any help you can facilitate.

Lapse of Time & Memory

Wow!! It's been over 4 years since I first communicated with you. It's been another 3 1/2 years since your reply to my question of relationship of Hattie Alma Burts Tawater (my grandmother) and her brother, Robert Claude Burts. (See below)

[Send Reply] RE: Hattie Alma Burts Tawater
Sorry about being so far behind on my replies on findagrave. Hattie's brother, Robert Claude Burts is the grandfather of my sister in law. I would love to share information with you.
Added by Debbie Cromwell on Nov 15, 2012 1:43 AM

I don't remember that we ever connected. Perhpas you could give me the name of your sister-in-law and I could ask her for more information about my great uncle and anyone else she would know about in my grandmother's immediate family (her siblings, their spouses, etc.)

If you're comfortable and your sister-in-law is comfortable with the idea, please contact me at:

I am anxious to learn much more about my grandmother's heritage and will be grateful for any help you can provide. Even if you or your sister-in-law choose to not interact, please let me know you received this message.

Many thanks!!

Bonnie Cromwell
Hello Debbie,
I just transferred Bonnie's memorial to your care. She was a wonderful lady. I knew her and her family at Austin Avenue UMC growing up. I sent a memorial to the church last week for her. My sympathy to you and her family.
Many years ago, I applied for the Texas historical marker for Rev. William McKendree Lambdin (Find A Grave Memorial # 5585687) at First Street Cemetery. I'd like to add my entire biographical sketch to his memorial. Would you consider transferring him to my care?
Thanks so much.

Thank You!!!!
Thank you for the edit for Elizabeth Cox Find A Grave Memorial# 5668041. There are two Sampson Cox's married to two Elizabeth's and people have them confused. She is attached to the right Sampson but her maiden name was not Driskill, that was the maiden name of the other Sampson Cox's wife that lived in Tennessee. I believe this Elizabeth's maiden name might have been Parker but I don't have proof.

Kindest Regards,

I have another request. Where did you get the information that my great-grandfather Samuel
Whitlock (Mary's first husband) died in 1878? I have found tax records up until 1878, but I haven't found anything proving when he died.

Thank you again for your help.

Can you give me the source of the dates on the tombstone for my great-great-grandparents: Henson Cole Davis and Sarah Parish Davis? I realize that the original stones were probably vandalized and a replacement was provided. I am working on an application for a DAR supplemental and am told that I must have the sources for the dates on the stone. I appreciate any help you can provide. They are in the McCree Cemetery in Garland, TX.
Thank you for any help.

My name is Jackie Stephenson, daughter of Jimmie Furr. My dad and George (Jiggs) were cousins. My father passed in 2009. I am going through boxes of old photos and newspaper clippings and found items that Annie might be interested in. Is she still living? If so, I would love to give her a chance to look at these items and scan them for her, or even let her have them. Please let me know and I will give you some contact information for me.
Thank you very much,

Jane Boyd Hays
What proof do you have that Jane Boyd Hays is the child of John Boyd, Jr., and Elizabeth Burgess? I am doing some research for the Daughters of the American Revolution on the family and there is a marriage listed for Boyd and Burgess, but no specific information/documentation to prove Jane Boyd was their daughter. Any help you can give, would be gratefully appreciated!

Thanks so much,

What is the origin of the middle name "Crittendon".
On Thomas Edward Breed's birth index his father is listed as James Carlton Breed.
On the 1930 census James is listed as J. C. Breed, Sr. He had a son, James Carter Breed, Jr.

He is no relation to me. Just curious.
