Thought you would like some additional information on Lucy. She was the daughter of Charles & Charity Jane (Fike) Rayhill. Born ca 1855 in St Clair County Ill. She married George F. Heath on 14 Oct 1841 in St Clair County, Illinois. Her death was noted in her uncle's (Henry C Fike) diary on 17 Jul 1895: Saw in the Globe Democrat [St. Louis, MO] the Mrs. Lucy Heath, my neice, died in Monroe, Michigan on Monday last. John Morrison Young
Hi Frank,
I see you set up the information about James Morrison Young on Find A Grave. I thought you may be able to help me as you are the Albion Historian. I believe John Morrison Young may be the sibling of my great-grandfather, James Joseph Young. James was born in about 1843 and came to Australia in about 1863. His death certificate lists his parents as Robert Young and Susan Morrison from Fermanagh. These are the same parents you list for John Morrison Young - and the same County. In your bio of John, you mention that he was headed for Australia but ended up in the USA. It would have been the same time that my great-grandfather made the trip to Australia. I've been looking for many months for information about my great-grandfather's family and I think this is a very promising lead. Are you able to give me any more information about John Morrison Young's family? Thanks in anticipation. Virginia
