PHOTOS: Any photo I have posted on Find-a-Grave is intended to be used...please consider this your permission to copy and/or post any of my photos.

DUPLICATES: I try my best to do a thorough check before entering any memorials. I will never intentionally create a duplicate, although sometimes it just happens with the delay in the Find-a-Grave system at times. Even if my memorial was entered first, I will usually delete IF the other memorial is complete. My interest is not in numbers but in the precious souls who walked among us on this earth and their descendants who may search for them in the future.

CORRECTIONS: I'll be happy to make corrections on any of my entries if needed, or I will gladly transfer memorials to family members (at my discretion when it involves my kinfolks). I would appreciate your using the "Edit" function to request corrections.

TRANSFERS: I am NOT a HOARDER of memorials. I am generally very open to transfer requests; HOWEVER, if you are not closely related and do not plan on updating, correcting, adding or otherwise enhancing the said memorial, please re-consider your request for transfer. My wish is that future generations will be interested in finding correct information about their relatives and will appreciate the efforts we have made on their behalf.

THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY
By Thelma Greene Reagan

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where others cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.
