I am searching for any information on my father who is listed as Frank Burkhart (Raymond Franklin Burkhart 1919-2003), who is listed as a field hand for Eligia and Georgia Talley in the 1940 Census. My father was a triplet from Pittsburgh. His father, mother, and older sister was wiped out in 1936 from Typhoid. I believe he had an uncle William Burkhart who may have moved to the Montgomery Ala. area and this would have been his only other relatives. His triplet sister and brother were killed as far as I know during WWII. Any info would be appreciated.

Libby, I found a grave marked -Rebecca Jane Goodnight, dates 1905-1986. It is shared with Robert Elvis Goodnight, 1888-1965. I did not want to leave the picture if this is not the correct person.

|Tim Knight||Sansom information|
Hello. I am researching my Grandmother's family (She was a Sansom) and I reached a dead end at her Grandfather William Wiley Sansom. Gertrude "Lillie" Tally's mother was a Sansom and Grandfather was John Franklin Sansom. My Sansom's are from Chilton County (I was born and raised) and Dallas County. I've found one family in Dallas County but they moved on to Texas before William was born. There were Sansom families in various Alabama counties and I'm trying to make some sort of connection. Do you have any Sansom family information? Have you are a family member done the DNA so we may compare? I have mine, my mothers and my Grandmothers DNA. Thank you! Tim

So happy to hear about your organization. I have been trying to find the identities of the African Americans that are buried in our Caddo county Oklahoma cemeteries. Would love to learn more about your organization.

|Larry||RE: Lora Ransom|
I am the Larry (Larry Ransom) that commented on this memorial recently. Lora was my grandmother on my fathers side of the family.
Lora was a twin. Her sister was Cora and she had brother(s) also. Her maiden name was McGlothlan. Beyond that, I will have to ask Dad to write something up.
We don't have man written records of prior to 1973 due to our home being destroyed by a Tornado. A few months later when our phone service was restored at our new home, dad got a call from a man who lived across town from us. My Grandparents wedding license would up in the front seat of his car!
What type of background/ bio are you looking for? Such as that provided in Obituaries?

|Barbara A Adkins - Armstrong||Oliver Family|
Hello I have been searching for my grandmother Bessie Oliver she died between 1924 and 1930. Last place she lived was Pierce Creek, Ar. Her father was William Oliver he died in 1904. I seen someone left a note saying William was buried in Winkler Cemetery, Faulkner Co, Ar. William remarried after Bessie's mother to Mattie Reason and had her half brother James Edward Oliver.
This may be an abandon graveyard. It said there was a rock as William's headstone. Is there any listings of abandon graveyards? Do you know where Winkler Graveyard is? Any help is appreciated. Thank You Barb

Hi Libby. Willie Augustas Talley McDaniel was my grandmother. I don't know too many relatives on the Talley side. I would love to email you and compare notes. Are you a member of ancestors.com?

Hi! There was not an individual grave marker for her, but she is buried in the same lot as her parents.
If you would like better photos for William and Anna Burkhart posted, please add photo requests for them and I will post the photos that I took.
Unfortunately, the only two names on the large Burkhart monument are for William and Anna. The rest of the sides do not contain any names although they were designed to have more names engraved.

I'm not sure. Since you transferred ownership to me, I should be the only one with access to make changes to it, especially delete the entire memorial. I think an amdmin had to have done it but I have no idea why, and you know how hard it is to communicate with anyone from the site. It's just so odd and disturbing.

Your Photo Request for Lela Talley is done. I also uploaded the same photo into Kenneth's FAGM.
I also updated their locations.
According to the Monett IOOF Cemetery database - http://www.cityofmonett.com/city_departments/cemetery/IOOF%20Cemetery%20as%20of%20013115.htm
- there is another Talley named "Robert Wayne Talley". If you wish me to try to find Robert, please submit a Photo request. Robert Wayne Talley is Not in Find A Grave (at least not listed in the IOOF Cemetery (I suppose the database Could be in Error??? but I doubt it)) so you would have to create a Memorial in Find a Grave from the database information before you could submit a request (well, duh!). But, of course, that's how this stuff always goes, aint't it!

|Jennifer||Barbara Moss photo request|
I was walking the sections of the cemetery looking for her headstone, when Mr. Larry Grubbs (with Crestlawn) stopped and asked if I needed any help locating a gravesite. So I asked him if he could verify I was in the right location. He looked in his records and couldn't find this person listed. He called the Conway funeral home (Roller-McNutt) who has a listing for everyone buried in Crestlawn (no matter which funeral home does the service). They had no record either. He stated it probably is a person that was cremated there, as the crematory is located on the grounds of Crestlawn and death certificates will read Crestlawn as "place" for "Burial, crematory, or memorial" entry.
I have put in a request to remove the photo request, as there is nothing to photograph.
Sorry I wasn't successful in fulfilling your request.

Libby, just got your message thru Find a Grave. This gentleman's grave is a mystery. I have a nephew by marriage, and this man is in his family tree (great uncle, I think), and they have searched the graveyard with no luck. Over the years, there has been vandalism, and his stone may have been destroyed, or a headstone might not have been purchased. No one knows. I have quite a few relatives buried in this cemetery, so I am quite familiar with it. It needs to be platted out and each grave marked, but no one has the time to do it. I am so sorry that no one can locate his resting place, but since he's in my family tree, and should it be discovered, you will be notified.

I would be happy to try and help you out. I will properly "claim" it on line. If you could do me favor though, if someone takes the picture, but doesn't take it off the list, please let me know.
I have been having trouble with "people" not following directions and they already took the the picture. UGH on that ::)

I notices you had left a flower on J. Bratcher Snodderly page. I am looking for my Great great grand father.
We thought his name was William Bratcher Snodderly wife Malinda, but today I have found a trial to Joseph Bratcher, he is buried about where we were told. Can you shed any light?
My great G Father was William Rice married to Mary Guy Shirks Buried in Morgan County. They were not buried together.

Hi Debbie. It's Ghost Girl. Remember this cold case? You worked hard to get her on the stroll? She has completely disappeared from Find A Grave!!! I have no idea what happened. Of course I inquired with a administrator months ago but have not heard back. I was hoping you could get involved to see what happened. Strange indeed.

|Lana Carter||William Birchett|
I noticed that you were searching for the tomb stone of William Birchett. He is in my niece's ancestry (thru marriage), and there are 2 William Birchetts buried at Cypress Valley just east of Vilonia. WTJ Birchett 1857-1935 has a stone and is listed on Find a Grave; however, his son WTJ Birchett (1900-1979) is buried there, but no picture has been made of his headstone. I am sure he William Thomas J Birchett, Jr. is buried pretty close or in the area of his father. Please let me know if I can help you further. By the way, William Thomas J Birchett was a half brother to my niece's husband's grandmother (confusing enough!). His grandmother was Izora Birchett, a daughter of WTJ Birchett and 1st wife. Feel free to contact me if I can help you any more. When the weather cools up, I would be happy to go over there and look around for you if you don't live that close.
