RE: Thelma Fostina Robinson Hester
You are welcome. No Ma'am, I looked for one but there isn't one showing. Here is where I got it. It is the fourth one down the list:

http://www.genealogybuff.com/nc/nc-catawba-obits35.htm

I assume it was in the Hickory Daily Record, but can't find proof of it.

Sincerely, Vickie

Hi Sharon
Have a question about this memorial
In the obit it said Rutherford Cemetery in Concord NC but you have it in Rutherford Cem. in Rutherford Co NC. Clark Funeral Home is an African American Funeral Home as so is Rutherford Cemetery in Concord I know that there is a Moose buried in Campground Cem. in Concord who is African American because I knew him. Can you please clear this up for me
Thanks
Cindy

Foil photo request
Hi Sharon! Hope you've been well! I stopped by St. James's cemetery the other day to locate Mrs. Foil's marker for you… there's not been a footstone like her husband's added yet. Actually there's very little room to do so the way the plot is situated. But the family may find a way. If it's okay with you .. I'll add the photo that I have showing her burial plot and marker. I'll keep and eye out and see if they add a footstone and let you know. She was a teacher when I was in school… everyone loved her! Take care! Dana

Pris Santos
Infant Daughter Walton and Jack Walter
Hi Sharon:
I saw your photo requests for these two at Pine Hill Cemetery and after many months of looing, I came across the city cemetery's search website and don't find these two listed based on last name and death date. If you have other records indicating burial here, you may wish to contact the cemetery for a burial location. After looking, would it be appropriate for you to list the burial as unknown? Whatever you think is appropriate. Best regards.
Pris

I have added a copy of his obit to the listing. I found it in a stack of newspaper clippings that I got from an aunt who helped clean out a house in Columbia, Tn.

Jesse Riggs
Article I happen to have --
Jesse Riggs -one of the oldest settlers of the county, died at his home southwest of BERWICK January 12, 1891, the result of injuries received about a week before. While he was helping drive several colts into the barn at his place one of them struck him and knocked him down on the frozen ground. Three of his ribs were broken, and the lining of his lungs was pierced by one of the bones. He was eighty-three years old and did not possess the strength to recover. His burial was in the cemetery at BERWICK.

Just thought if you didn't have this you might be interested in it.

Mae Terry headstone photo and location
Thank you, Sharon! My name is Sharon as well, and I am Mae Terry's grand daughter. I have been trying to find out where she ended up as her obit. said she was buried in Clyde Park, but I cannot find her there. I was unable to attend her funeral as I was out of state for my job the year she passed. Now that i know I will have to go look for her when I next get to Livingston.

RE: James Gryder
I was happy to be able to get this photo for you. I have a map for this cemetery, and it helps tremendously that you usually have a plot number listed with your photo requests. I will get some more photos for you in a few days. I will also try to get some info on Henry Moose as well.

Hi, Another findagrave contributor noticed that your memorial for Frances has her in the wrong cemetery. She is actually buried at North Carolina > Rockingham > Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=118190965&CRid=2159318&). I had created a memorial for Frances when I canvassed that cemetery last year. Your memorial predates mine and I've deleted the duplicate. Please associate this memorial to the correct cemetery. Thanks! Perry

Daniel/Perry graves
Hello,

I added a photograph for Jerry Daniel buried at Southside Cemetery in Troy, NC. My husband knew Jerry Daniel though his work in the local school system. He died in a terrible automobile accident involving a log truck, a shock to everyone in the community.

We located the grave marker for Enid Perry, but no death dates were on it so I did not post any photos. We will check on this from time to time.

Also, we did not find the grave of the younger Raymond Perry, but my husband will get in touch with someone to find out where his grave is.

Best wishes, Dottie Wilkie

Brad
Oakwood Cemeteries in High Point.
Sharon, Oakwood Memorial Park & Oakwood Municiple Cemetery are two seperate Cemeteries but they are actually adjoining just to make it extra confusing.

I looked at some of the McCain Memorials and he has selected the wrong cemetery for some.

Generally what I found is that if they are at Oakwood Memorial Park it will say that specifically. Oakwood Memorial Park is a private owned cemetery. It was founded about 1929?

Oakwood Municiple Cemetery is owned and maintained by the city of High Point.

John Henry McCain & Ora are at Oakwood Memorial Park
George Elwood McCain Oakwood Memorial Park
Eula Mae Smith McCain Oakwood Memorial Park
Mary Ruth McCain Setliff & spouse Oakwood Memorial Park

Thelma Henry McCain may actually be ot Oakwood Municiple.

Good Luck getting these memorials moved and or corrected. I have had very limited success getting that contributor or the admins to fix these sort of problems. Its frustrating.

RE: Headstone Photos
I has been a pleasure getting these photos for you. This is something I've started not to long ago and I really enjoy doing them. I will go to a cemetery and photograph the whole thing and then get on Find a Grave to full fill as many requests as I can and when I'm done with that one I will go on to the next one. If I can be of service to you I will try my hardest. Sincerely Karen

Guilford Memorial Park
Sharon I have not found her yet. She must be in a section I have not done. You can try to get the plot location by calling Phone: (336) 299-5177. Most likely they will give it to you. If they ask be sure to state you are related.

Please let me know if you get it & also please add it to the memorial.
