|Ace Crawford||RE: Susan Melissa Caldwell Northcraft Johnson|
Susan Melissa Caldwell Northcraft Johnson's death certificate, at ancestry.com, reflects her father as S. W. Caldwell and her mother as Bebary Caldwell. It also says both were born in NC, which I don't believe to be accurate. Everything I see says Samuel Walker Caldwell and Elizabeth Ann Betsy Caldwell Caldwell were both born in Boyle County, KY. They are both buried in Bellvue Cemetery at Danville, Boyle County, KY. As far as the name Bebary is concerned, I suppose it's possible that Samuel was married twice, but I haven't found evidence of that. Census data is pretty much useless in clarifying the maiden name of Susan's mother.

|Susan Hall||request for copying your work|
I am new to Find a Grave. I am doing some research for the children and grandchildren of Guy Dee Hall. I am an aunt for the children. The information is wonderful. I was wondering if I may copy and use the photos and information on the Hall lineage and pass along to the family.
Thank you for your work. It is greatly appreciated.
The children and grandchildren may join Find a grave as well, but I was wanting to forward the info I have found to pass along to help the process go faster.
Thank you for your time,

that is awesome! Thank you for that! It didn't occur to me to look at the index for Orange County. I don't know why it didn't, I just spent the last few days digging through indexes in Monroe County, you'd think it would have! I just found out my uncle has some documents related to James' death, all confirmed. Thanks for your help!

|Laurie Hays Plemons||James C. Hays|
I recently discovered that I had family buried at Liberty in Orange County, IN and visited this cemetery over the weekend. I am still in the process of connecting family members to each other, and see that you have listed James C. Hays as the son of Lorenzo D. and Sarah E. Hays.
birth: Jan. 9, 1878
Death: Oct. 17, 1904
James was the son of Lorenzo D. and Sarah E. Miller Hays. He married Susan "Sue" Mathews on June 13, 1901 in Orange County, Indiana.
He was killed by a train at Salem, Indiana.
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing how you know that this is their James? (I thought their James was a James R. this is why I ask.) Lorenzo is my 3xgreat grandfather.
any info you can share would be very helpful, thanks!
Please do not copy these photos without my permission.

Small Son of Mr.and Mrs. Carl Hall Passes
Hopes of a fond mother, a former resident of this city, that her only child would soon regain his health, were swept away Thursday morning in Bloomington when the child passed away as he lay in her arms while enroute to the hospital.
The boy's parents, Carl and Rachel Brock Hall, residing two miles south of Bedford on the Dixie Highway, were taking their two year-old son, Theodore Warren, who had been ill for three weeks, to the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment. Death was due to a generalized infection developing from a cold.
Mrs. Hall lived in this city when a girl and visits here frequently. The grandparents of the child, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Brock, of Bedford, formerly lived in this city on North Chestnut Street and were well known here.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Saturday moring from the home. Burial in Green Hill Cemetery.

|HillSeeker||Memorial for Charles A. Hodges|
Thank you, Blair! for allowing me to use the headstone photos you took (Thank YOU!) and for editing info to the other Memorial. I have new information about Charles A. Hodges (and excellent actual-image documentation) about his middle name, etc. But I must hurry out the door this morning for a doctor's appointment so I shall have to provide you the specific evidence later. I know it is a nuisance to go back and change a lot of stuff, so I truly appreciate your help in these matters. By the way, I am also from Indiana (I saw your bio posting). Thank you very much again and God Bless. Best regards, Sue. p.s. ~ I'll email the documentation. :)
