|John "J-Cat" Griffith||RE: Sir Henry Wood|
Hello David and thank you for contacting me about Conductor Sir Henry Wood. In regards to his bio, yes I wrote it but didn't have anything to do about the family links which were added to it. However, I'll check to see what can be done to correct the problem. Best always,

Dear John: I have not been on the Findagrave site for some time. I had a stroke and it is hard for me to do this work now, but I am trying. Did you get what you wanted done? If not I think I can help by transfering the memorial to you. Just go on Findagrave and start and new subscription. Then give me your find a grave number. I will do the transfer and you can make changes etc as much as needed. Elaine

I am photographing St. Trinity but have not found these markers. There are many who are buried in St. Trinity who do not have markers. I'll check and let you know.

I added his father, but you said Elsie (#115904287) was his sister. In the previous message you said you could send the links for his father and sister. Elsie appears to be his wife. If you click on the edit tab and click on the relationship, you can add the links where they belong for spouse and parents. Otherwise it's safer to add a few details. Thanks, Kathy

Dear David, Thank you for leaving a beautiful token on the site of my favorite French author, Andre Breton. I admire you for the loyalty that you demonstrate in acknowledging the anniversaries of many of the great souls who are honored on Find A Grave. Cordially, Janice aka Tigress

Thank you so much.
While I was writing the bios of early Florida governors and other Southern states, I left that familiar subject and started doing the bios of the Russian Royals at a request from another Find A Grave member. I am not a student of Russian history, but learned so much with the research for these bios.
You made my day with your compliment.

I saw your message on Jim Tipton's profile. You said you were not able to contact the memorial creator because they do not accept messages. Have you used the Edit tab > Suggest A Correction (aka SAC) feature? Many of us do have profile messages disabled because the email generated by the SAC feature includes a direct link to the memorial so there is no chance of a typo (369 instead of 396). The contributor has added memorials in the past 90 days, so he/she is still active.
Also, as your relationship to the deceased is not one of the required transfers (see thesecond item), the transfer is entirely at the discretion of the memorial manager. Some contributors transfer beyond the required relationships, others do not. Both are acceptable. Hopefully, you will submit the correct info regardless of whether or not the manager transfers.

If his birthday is actually April 5th you might want to let Find A Grave admin know so they can correct it on his memorial //

Dear David, How wonderful to meet a kindred spirit and to know that you have visited Andre Breton's grave. In the mid-1970s I worked on my dissertation with his first wife, Simone, and was very touched when she asked me to take her to his grave. This year a new Find-A-Grave member from Turkey also left Breton a tribute, and when I thanked him he suggested that we meet at Breton's grave someday. What an amazing brotherhood/sisterhood Find-A-Grave can be! Cordially, Janice aka Tigress

Dear David, Thank you so much for honoring Andre Breton on his birthday. I was in Paris that day but didn't make it to his grave. But as his daughter wrote to me, he isn't in the cemetery. He is in our thoughts and our hearts. All the best,
Janice aka Tigress
