Hi... Looked for Alma Alverson and Coke Cato today but was unable to locate the graves. They are not with her husband and other brother. Or at least there was no marker. Plenty of room in the plot. I added the memorials for both of these and also her husband and brother a few years ago. I added Alma and Cato later and for the life of me can't figure out why as I'm not related. So I either ran across them in the listing I have of Oakwood or I actually saw the marker. Back when I was taking alot of photos there I would add a section from the index and take the photos later. But I have taken photos there that I never posted and deleted off my computer. So I don't know if that's what happened. I'll keep them in mind whenever I'm at the cemetery.

|Boyce Walters||RE: Alexander Wright|
Thank you for the reply. I apologize for the mess that was the
querrie. I work mostly from my phone so hit a lot of wrong keys.
I'm a bit new to Find A Grave but this is how I found my connection to Alexander Wright.
Both my parents grew up in Lancaster County so my research is mostly centered there. I'm researching Walters, Horton Mobley, Lucas, Vaughn and several others. If you have any connections to any of those ( or know someone who does ) I'd appreciate any help you could offer.
I reside in Fairfield County and would be happy to assist you if you have any need for anything from over this way.

Since your name is Wright, I wonder if you have any information about Melissa Wright, born in the 1830s and apparently married to an Ayres. She and he had a child named William Leroy. In 1860 Melissa married Willis Cornelius Norris, and apparently her son William Leroy took the name of Norris as his own -- and seems to be my Great Grandfather.

|Dave Milster||Viola Milster|
I FOUND Viola in the 1880 census living with her Aunt Nancy. All the male Milsters from Joseph & Julia that were Nancy's brothers are GONE... It does show that Viola was born 1874, not 1866. As this is in Chester SC and that's the area where Viola lived, surely this is her "momma" but was really her aunt.
Here's the link.... https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M6SQ-Z49
Let me know if you agree.
I do find discrepancies in years of birth on the census. Nancy, for example, from the 1850 census to the 1880 census, has a swing of six years of birth, but always in the same family.

|Dave Milster||Viola Milster|
There was a man and his wife named Joseph & Julia Milster. They lived in Chester and Fairfield SC as can be seen on the 1840/50/60/70 census. Joseph was born in Holland abt 1804, while Julia was born in SC abt 1813.
They had a daughter Nancy Milster b 1840 in SC, but more likely, one of their older sons (Marion, John, Minor) married a Nancy (nee unknown). They likely were the parents of Viola. J & J's children would be of the correct age to have Viola as a daughter and lived in the same area where Viola was born.
If you send an email to my email address of:
firstname.lastname@example.org, I will send you a register report with all the info related to this family.
SO FAR, I've not found ONE of them on FindAGrave!
All that said, the Joseph Milster clan is not related to Frederick/Dorothy Milster from Hessia as best that I can tell
