Thank you
Thank you for helping me to find who would've been my uncle. Donald Raymond Mattos was born on April 11, 1947 and passed at almost 2 weeks old on April 24, 1947.

RE: Thank you!
You are most welcome :). Wish there had been a headstone for Fannie, but thought you might like to see a photo of her resting place.

Eugene Lindsey Norton, Find A Grave Memorial #20710648
Hi KN,

I've been doing some research on Eugene Lindsey Norton and am sending what I've found for you to add to his page.

Eugene Lindsey Norton was born June 17, 1880 in Oakland, CA, the son of George Andrew Norton from Maine and Marian Jane Victor Norton, from Sonoma, CA.
His family lived in Oakland throughout his childhood, where his father was a farmer. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1899 as a Landsman and trained on the USS Pensacola. His family moved to the Morgan Hill area of Santa Clara County in about 1900. Eugene married Lulu Rice from Ohio on January 9, 1904. They had a son, George Andrew Norton, on March 21, 1905. They remained in Santa Clara County where George kept orchards for the remainder of his life. He died on October 30, 1933 at the age of 53.

Thanks, Katherine

Jonathan Twiss
ID# 40172549 Dorothy Arnold
Hi again, I am sure that Dorothy [Emmons] Arnold is buried in the Ackley/Long Pond cemetery in the Millington parish of East Haddam, not Haddam Center cemetery. There is a large plot of fieldstones [unmarked] in the Arnold plot in the Ackley cemetery.

In this Arnold plot, there is a fieldstone marked " V A 1734 ". I believe that this stone was misread by the taker in 1934. It should read " D A 1754" which would stand for Dorothy Arnold who died in June 1754. Enoch Arnold inherited a bit of land in Millington parish from his father's estate in 1736. This was where Enoch and his family lived for many years and died there.

So, just transfer your page to the Ackley/Long Pond cemetery with the above explanation. Thanks again. Jonathan Twiss

Abigail [Crocker] [Williams] Arnold
Hi, would you please transfer ID# 22886373 for Abigail [Crocker] [Williams] Arnold, 2nd wife of Enoch Arnold from the Old Cove Burying Ground to Millington Cemetery, East Haddam? She is not buried in the Old Cove, but next to her husband in Millington Cemetery where he is buried. He died 8 April 1795 aged 78 years, Millington church record. There are no stones for both Enoch and Abigail Arnold. They lived in Millington parish for many years. Abigail died about 1771 as Enoch Arnold married 3rd to Mrs. Elizabeth [Pepoon] Gilbert; she died 25 March 1800 aged 75 years in Millington [church record].

Thank you so much, Jonathan Twiss
