RECORD UPDATE REQUEST- see below

TRANSFERS Of RECORDS - see below

Quincy Stroeing - I am a native of Melrose, Minn, which is in central Minnesota - 100 miles northwest of the Twin Cities in Stearns County.

Son of:
Alcuin H & Merena "Joie" (Welle) Stroeing

Grandson of:
Henry & Anna Nathe Stroeing
Anton & Apollonia Schoenberg Welle

In addition to the 4 sir names above, the other last names in my family tree are Ortmann and Gerads.

CEMETERIES
I frequently visit the 3 cemeteries in Melrose: St. Mary's (formerly St. Boniface), St. Patrick's and the town's oldest graveyard, Oak Hill Cemetery (formerly known as Melrose Burial Grounds)

I also frequently visit the cemeteries in the communities surrounding Melrose: Greenwald, Meire Grove, Spring Hill, New Munich, Freeport, St. Martin, Lake Henry, Richmond, St. Cloud and others in Stearns County.

I try to take photos of the gravestone in the cemeteries above if a photo request has been submitted.

MELROSE CEMETERIES PROJECT

The three cemeteries in my hometown of Melrose, Stearns County, Minnesota are:
- Oak Hill Cemetery
- St. Patrick's Cemetery
- St. Mary's Cemetery (formerly St. Boniface)

I have documented these three cemeteries by creating Find A Grave burial records for every individual buried in the three cemeteries through 2011.

In addition to the burial records, I've posted gravestone photos as well. Links to the spouse, parents and children have been added if the genealogy connection is known.

TRANSFERS: If I created a burial record for your relative (direct line and within 4 generations), and the individual is not a relative of mine, you can request a transfer of ownership of the burial record by emailing me.

My preference is to click the "Edit" tab in the upper right corner of the memorial record. Then click the "Suggest a Correction" link.

Please include the following in your transfer request email:

- your first, last name & Find A Grave member ID
- the first last name on the burial record
- the burial record number
- your relationship to the individual

Please allow a generous amount of time for processing your request.

NOTE: Please do not blindly transfer your records to me. Disposing your records on other Find A Grave contributors is disrespectful to both the deceased and the contributor.
