RE: George Haden
I just adored her stories. She had sent me a bunch of her Father's poems. I told her if she didn't put them in writing (she knew them by heart) that they would be lost forever. That reminds me that I need to add them to my tree. I stay in touch with her son, Phil.
Thanks again!

Ok, I had been in touch with Ethel myself. The grayer pic in the memorial was found by me. I sent it to Ethel for verification and she told me that that was her Grandpa Doug. I found it online with a historical society and was lucky enough to have Ethel authenticate it. She was an amazing person. She had some great stories period I was hoping to meet her in person but unfortunately that didn't happen. I have been in touch with one of her sons for years.
Are you part of the Haden Family?

Question
Hello,

I'm so curious of your relation to my family member James and Edna Evans. I have never seen the photo you posted on James Evan's findagrave site and the caption seems to suggest you are a close friend or received the photo from a family member. You also have posted information not many know even within the family. Please excuse my curiosity. I am thankful to you for creating Edna's record because I've found it too difficult to do myself at this point. Please reply at farkly10000@gmail.com.

I am happy to try to fulfill your request though if you will contact the office and ask for the plot location.
Just let me know, or post the plot on the memorial and I will try to fulfill it in the near future

Correction re Dora's sister
Just a note that when Dora passed away, her sister, Fannie, married Newton Croft (Dora's husband). Gladly, my great-grandfather, is Dora's son. Thank you for adding her to this site.

RE: Military gravesite
Hi Deborah... I really don't know any of the details regarding Larry's grave site. I never met him nor his family.. and I only came across the other memorial for him just yesterday.. but since it had a photo already posted to it, I just assumed that it was taken at the cemetery it was listed under. I'm sure her people in Robbinsville would know as she wanted some of her ashes sent back there. Perhaps she wanted them spread somewhere in particular.. maybe Bud knows..

Speaking of Bud.. please look after him.. my heart breaks just thinking about his grief and shock.. Do you know if his daughter from Maine is still around? One of the last times I had spoken with Carol she had mentioned that Bud's daughter and her husband were also going to be part-time residents at the Veterans Colony. It's so sad that she never got to enjoy the fruits of their labor there. I was so relieved that she and Bud wouldn't be making that long trek to Maine anymore and she could FINALLY relax and slow down a bit.. but I don't think it was in her DNA to rest.. The woman was part energizer bunny!! and actually left me in the dust a few yrs back while we were climbing those mountains around Robbinsville..and I'm 23 yrs her junior lol.. so yes.. again, I concur with your "amazing woman" statement.

I'm so happy to have 'met' you on here.. and I hope that you don't mind my keeping tabs on Bud thru you.. it's just that I only met him once and spoke to him on the phone two or three times so I really don't know him that well and I would feel a bit awkward or maybe inappropriate injecting myself into his life. I just know that Carol loved him dearly and would want folks looking after him. I would truly appreciate being able to occasionally converse with you.

So if you'd like to continue our conversation away from this public forum.. my email address is sjlitz@metalink.net

RE: I sponsored your cousin
Thank you Deborah... your kind words about Carol reflect my sentiments perfectly.. An Amazing Woman indeed!!

I wish I could have had more time with her or even one last chance to have told her just how much she meant to me. I miss my conversations with her.

Do you ever see Bud? If so, please tell him that I think about him often.

Sincerely,
Sandi Litzenberg

You created this memorial but I can't tell if you are managing it. She was my dearly loved aunt who left no offspring, and I would like to request transfer of the memorial if possible. If not, are you the right person to send additional information to?

I was doing some research in Elm Springs cemetery and found the head stone for Jessie D. Anglin. I noticed you had him in the benton co. Memorial Park. I have a photo of his head stone and would put it on the memorial if it were in the Elm Springs cemetery. Sparky

Eliza Hoggatt #106366413
Hello~
First I'd like to thank you for your Find A Grave contributions, and making it possible for family to find long lost relatives.
Eliza B. Hoggatt is/was my great grandmother's sister. My great grandma's name is Martha "Mattie" Hogan Hoggatt Cartwright. She and Eliza married brothers, my grandma to Willie and Eliza to Charley. Willie died a few years after he and Mattie were married in Indian territory and then she remarried Callie Cartwright.
I was wondering if you'd be kind enough to transfer her memorial over to me. I would love for it to be in my family.

Thanks for considering my request.
