Jon lives in downtown Kirkland, WA with his wife Deanna. His mother was Edna Louise Chenoweth, born to Harry Edward Chenoweth and Minnie Jane Holt. Harry had come out to the Seattle area from Pineville, MO about 1912. This in the line of the 3rd generation Thomas, son of John. Jon has been doing Chenoweth genealogy and hosting the Chenoweth website where he produced and wrote 450 webpages since 1996, contacting, talking and corresponding to over 3,000 cousins. He has attended all Chenoweth national reunions (thru 2018 - 10 in all) and made presentations at each of them and is the foremost authority on the Chenoweth Family, America, having created a file of over 230,000 descendants and spouses descending from the family of John Chenoweth and his traditionally named wife, Mary Calvert, a project he works on daily.
I would be more than glad to manage any Chenoweth memorial since I basically know who all these people were. This fall (2020) I manage over 1,950 Chenoweth pages out of 8.300 plus memorials created so far. This includes married daughters. Though 90% of the family uses this spelling "Chenoweth", there are other variants like Chenowith, Chinouth, Chenowth, Chinowth, Chinworth, Chenworth, Chineworth as well as variants of Chennyworth and Channyworth. Chynoweth and Chinneth are not part of the family of John Chenoweth and Mary Calvert, who comprise over 90% of the present population of US Chenoweths.
