Hello. On Jan 5th, I sent you all the info through the edit tab to update Nellie's profile completely. These updates have not been addressed yet, so I am checking to see if you have any questions. If you no longer wish to maintain her memorial, i'd be more than happy to manage it for our family.

Ilarea Lillian Clinton Parsley Roy
Hello Shelia,
Do you happen to know when Ilarea Lillian Clinton Parsley Roy was married to Alexander Roy?

I think I have narrowed it down somewhat to after 1960, but that is just a guess.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kindest Regards,
Alana Morgan

Tokens / Flowers
How do I leave a flower/note for someone listed on Find A Grave?
First, go to the record to which you wish to add flowers and/or a note. There will be a box on the right hand side that says "Leave flowers and a note for this person". Just click on that box and follow the steps. (Note: you must be registered as a member and logged in to be able to leave flowers and notes.) We want Find A Grave to remain a place of respect and remembrance, just like a real cemetery.
Do not leave derogatory or politically charged notes. Inappropriate notes will be removed, and individuals who continue to leave derogatory or politically charged notes will have their account closed. Additionally, biographical information and obituaries are not to be included in a virtual flower. Limit flowers to no more than one flower per memorial per day.

William E. Parsley, Memorial #74817388
I believe this is your William Eugene Parsley. If you look closely at the photo of his name, you'll see 'Tennessee' listed as the state where he enlisted in the Navy. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Parsley, Route 5, Knoxville, TN. If this person is related, I'm sure Shane would transfer his memorial to you if you asked him. I didn't do an in-depth check but you could probably find out how he died without too much trouble. If you decide not to request a transfer, let me know and I'll do it. I hate to see these memorials without more info, especially about how these brave men died - they deserve that much, at least.

(Memorial that you commented on: William Parsley, Memorial #77174816, was a Merchant Marine from Bronx, NY.)

Sarah Elizabeth Singleton
I sent you an email regarding this, along with the most important documentation vs. one 1870 census in the wrong state of Arkansas. I dont' know how to make this more clear to you.

The Singleton line is my father's, and I have researched it extensively for years

Added by dek_tx on Dec 09, 2015 9:09 PM

Just a note
You noted that Sarah Elizabeth Singleton, wife of James Hyatt, was the daughter of Van Buren and Rachel Parsley Singleton.

I believe she is actually the daughter of Lewis Singleton and Anna Niva Parsley of Halls, Buchanan County, MO unless of course you have documentation that shows otherwise.

Here is the CA death index.

Name Sarah Elizabeth Hyatt
Gender Female
Birth Date 16 Mar 1869
Birth Place Missouri
Death Date 1 Jun 1948
Death Place San Diego
Mother's Maiden Name Parsley
Father's Surname Singleton

Anna Niva was first married to Samuel Snelling.

W.A. Parsley
Hello. My name is Tiffany. W.A. was married to my great grandmother, Sarah Ellen Teel-Releford-Collins-Parsley. My mother remembers him being called Azariah. If you have any info on him, I would love to hear about him. I have a couple of pictures of him that I would be more than happy to share. Also, Sarah Ellen was buried in Knupple Cemetery next to her 2nd husband, Willie Lee Collins, under the last name of Collins. Hope the info helps you some.
