Re: Email/photos
It's definitely an active email address. For photos, you'll want to use

Curator, Find a Grave

Thanks a bunch! She was nice to catch, and really helped us out in a tourney!

I'm having my doubts if this is the correct Svylanus, though, because of the wife's name. I believe history has crossed two different Sylvanus/Silvanus Martin's.

I will need to see the original photo, I guess. I'm having trouble making out what the headstone says.

Do you still have this photo available? I am having a hard time reading the top portion of the headstone.

If you do, could you either upload a larger photo or email the photo to me?

Thank you!

No, I don't know for certain if they're actually there, and I'm not aware of anything definitive either way. Hard to imagine where else they might be. Thanks.

Swan Point requests
Hi there Bryan,
Just went through Swan Point's requests, saw you (& a few other people!) attempted to fill the requests for Annie Hoppin & Phebe Steere. If you want credit (& to knock it off the list) just go over, delete your photo (save it first if you don't still have a copy!) and hit fulfill & upload again. It was a bit weird sitting down here filling RI requests!
And I'm actually a Marylander by birth, but definitely not by choice, but lucky for me I'm out in the country. Hope this is temporary, my aim is to be a Vermont resident again sometime soon!
You ever need help with anything Rhode Island cemetery related, feel free to drop me a line, I'd love to talk New England!

Swan Point Fulfilled Requests
Hi Bryan,

I saw your note on Jen's message board. I also doubled up on some of the Swan Point requests, but using Jen's instructions, I was able to close them so they won't be the source of future confusion. While I was doing so, I found a few requests that you logged pictures for -- and could close:

Annie Taft Knight Hoppin

Phebe Ann Knight Steere

Charles Elmer Shedd

Hope this is a help.

Photo requests: something I learned
Just wanted to make those who have attempted to fill photo requests in Rhode Island aware of something new. Have you ever tried to fill a photo request (almost all of which belonged to a certain contributor who had a bunch of his multiple accounts deleted) but when you click fulfill & upload the photo, you don't get credit & the request stays on the photo request list as unfilled? These requests always said "added by: ". These requests now say "added by: Find a Grave". I discovered this the other day. I had 7 such requests I had tried to fill last year in Pawtucket but after I uploaded the pix nothing happened. Tried again the other night, deleted my pix, reuploaded them again using the "fulfill" button, I got credit and more importantly the requests disapeared off the request lists. There are a lot of such requests in Rhode Island, some have multiple pictures put on by several different people. I thought some contributors might like to try filling them again & get lots of the already done ones off the list, to stop people wasting time & gas money!
