My mother's memorial
Bonnie, Thank you so much for the kind, wonderful message that you left my on my mom's memorial page. She was indeed a very special, loving person which I wanted to convey on her memorial. I know when I walk through a cemetery and see monuments honoring departed loved ones, I often wonder about the person who passed on, what they were like and what their death meant to their family. This site enables their memory to live on as well as what their passing meant to their family. It's very comforting for me to know that my mom's memory will live on for a long time for her future generations to know how special she really was. Thank you again for leaving such kind words.

RE: my postings
When you say your posting was "#539-", what do you mean by that? Do you mean it was on the page of flowers that listed numbers 500-550? How was your posting changed?

Dick Clark has received almost 800 flowers since his passing a couple of days ago, so you should expect to see any flower left for him move down the list rather quickly.

RE: my postings
I don't understand what you mean when you say, "My posting for Dick Clark has been moved to the page #151-200 rather than #539 between original posting date of 4/19 and today, 4/20/12". When you post a flower, it is at the top of the list. When someone else comes along and posts another, yours gets bumped down the list and the new one takes its place. With a recent death of a very popular celebrity, the flowers roll in quickly.

Find A Grave has no paid staff. The only person that could possibly adjust the date field on a flower is me. No one else has access to the database at that level and I assure you that I did not adjust the date on any of your flowers.

RE: my postings
Good. I'm glad you're keeping track. I should be able to look up any future deletions based on the numbers you record.

RE: my postings

We certainly don't filter out the word 'god' and we definitely don't hate Michael Jackson. I think there might be a misunderstanding, though. I reviewed your flowers for both Davy Jones (example) and Michael Jackson, and none of them have been deleted or removed.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I have fun writing these least most of them. Lady Hamilton was no "lady", but Dr. Hagin was a saint of the ages. Thanks again and God Bless,

President Bush
Bonnie, I couldn't agree with you on President George W. Bush. Like you I felt safe when Bush lived in the White House. The only thing President Obama wants is a bigger goverment and more spending to add to America's debt. It took Obama 18 months to spend what Bush did in 8 years.

I'll never forgive the media for what they did to President Bush. I know when you're the president you will get critized but I think people went to far with Bush. They seem to give Obama a free ride.

Well take care and God bless you and your family and may God continue to bless The United States of America.

Your friend,

Bonnie I want to thank you for the kind words you left for my grandparents. They were kind and heart felt. I also appreciate the fact that you are a republican. I really believe that 2010 is going to be a great year for our party.

I would like to ask you what you think of President Bush. I have added you to my list of Find a Grave friends I would be honored if you would add me as well.

Have a happy and safe Fourth of July. God bless America.

My Mother
Thank you for your reply. It helped me to know you are and will pray for me. I never thought about that maybe God doesn't want me to know everything that happened, until you wrote it. I have been through a lot of grief over her and I always say that if I knew then what I know now I would have had her cremated and spread some of her ashes in the Ouachita River in Columbia, scattered some in other various places and kept some just to feel her near to me. The detectives told my husband that her pants weren't all the way up on her. They wouldn't talk to me about that part of it. They also wouldn't let me see the photos they took or the film footage. They did show it to my husband. He told me he said to them, "My God, that looks just like my wife laying there." So I look like my mother. And I knew that because I have many photos of her at various ages and the apple isn't falling far from the tree. Thanks for the support!!!...Rustie

My Mama
Bonnie, Yes you sorta do have to have been there but as I knew and you know we all have to go there. It is just that my mother was murdered for her medicine and I do not seem to be able to get the detectives interested in that aspect because she was just an old lady and going to die soon anyway and I think the one who did it is on their list of druggie snitches. The coroner's report in New Orleans said it was a homicide and the coroner told me personally on the phone that the extension cords used to kill her are still wrapped around her neck. I had to let her go in a double body bag; couldn't see or dress her or fix her wig upon her; there's just so much hurt inside of me that it will take years and years to heal if they ever do. I feel I was rushed into buring her before the fog could clear in my mind for me to think about what I should do. I was also rushed into clearing out her house and there are just so many things I would do differently if given the chance. Cherish your Mother and every second you have to spend time with her; when she is gone, she is gone forever. Tell her I said I hope this finds her well, and you, too, and thanks again for listening...Rustie Teal
