Sir Owen Edward Pennefather Lloyd
Dave, I see you uploaded a photo for Sir Owen, thanks. I am doing some family research for a person who thinks they are related to Sir Owen. On Sir Owen's headstone there is a lot of detail, but it is not readable in the photo. Could you either make available a high resolution photo so it can be read or provide a transcript? Many thanks.

Thank you for adding the photo of my relative Robert Downie's headstone. People like him should never be forgotten.

William Anderson V.C. Grave marker
Hi Dave,

As a researcher on William Anderson V.C. for many years I thought I should point out that you have the wrong grave marker for him.

William Anderson does not have a grave marker as his burial location is unknown. He is memorialized on the Le Touret Memorial in Pas de Calais, France.

William was in the 2nd Battalion, Alexandra, Princess of Wale's Own (Yorkshire Regiment). He was a Corporal when he died.

Just thought I'd let you know so you could correct the posting.

Thanks for your work...

RE: wrong photo
Dear Dave
thank you for the prompt response. We have a photo of Stephen Garvin's grave (not taken by us) - we plan to go and take one ourselves one day and add to Find A Grave!
Kind regards

Stephen Garvin, VC
you added a photo for his grave - the name is difficult to read. Do you have a better resolution shot? We would like some confirmation that it is the right grave as we have different information about where he was buried.
Kind regards
