Hi there I live in Kilmarnock on the west coast of Scotland. It's where the world famous Johnnie Walker Whisky comes from, and It's also near the town of Ayr. A famous son of Ayr was Rabbie Burns and he is Scotland's National Bard. A poet of world renown and perhaps most famous for his work "Auld Lang Syne". Which is sang the world over each New Year's Eve.
