Alexander C Brown
On the memorial you created, What dose the Ltc
preceding his name stand for? The records I have
seen list his service as a private.

Alexander C Brown
Alexander C. was my 5th gt. grandfather. I am thanking you for your Find A Grave contribution of my ancestor. My research of him is that his spouse was ANNA JANE HORTON (1761-1820) and that their marriage took place in Tolland Co., CT on 26 Jan 1778. With your permission I would like to add these items.

Carol Brown Parker
Jacob Brown born 1755
I would really appreciate your help. The post about my ancestor Jacob Brown born 1755 below states he was born in New York, USA but buried in Adams Cemetery in Adamsville, Muskingum County, Ohio, USA??? That does not seem possible?

I have looked everywhere in and for proof of his death place and the burial place. Could you give me the proof of the death place and Burial place? I have spent several hours but unfortunately I can not find the proof of this data.

Jacob also lived in Orange County, New York, USA, Dec 1783 as well. His son Isaac was born there and stayed there. I know some of the family stayed in N.Y. but my direct line went to Ohio and then to Michigan.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you,
Carol Brown Parker

RE: Solomon Root
I was asking because I printed out photo requests for Martinsburg, NY and for the Stanwix Cemetery and Solomon is listed in both cemeteries. I will let you know if I find anything. Thanks.

Solomon Root
Is the Solomon Root you are requesting in the Stanwix NY cemetery the same one you are requesting in the Martinsburg NY cemetery?

Hello Gregory & Rebekah, I was wondering if you are related to Alexander Crawford Brown? He is my 4 x's gr grandfather and I would love to be able to take over his memorial. If you are not related and are willing to transfer that is. I want to connect the whole family to his page and add more info. Please let me know. Thank you so much for posting his page.

Back in early March you kindly posted a photo of my great grandma's headstone. I regret that I have not thanked you earlier. The information on the stone was very interesting. Curious that they did not list her as 'wife', only mother, daughter and sister. Her husband John Boyd must have been out of favor at that time!
