Bio

I enjoy History and became interested in genealogy in 2001 when helping my mother search for her family. I try my hardest to post only facts on these memorials, if you do find a mistake please contact me and I'll fix it.

Your welcome to use the information and cemetery photos I have added on here (just indicate who provided the photo and information and that it is being used with permission.) I have seen many people on ancestry.com take my photos and misuse them and also place them with the wrong people.

I would like to bring to the ATTENTION of fellow researchers on here who work very hard walking the cemeteries taking photos and posting memorials for everyone's benefit on here, I know it takes a lot of time and energy and gas and giving of one's self, I am thankful for all those who summit memorials on here BUT I have in the last 3 years found that many of my close relatives that have past away already have a memorial made for them by someone else who is not related to them. I am finding memorials for my family members made the day of their burial or the day after by others on here who are not related to them.(Do you scour the Obits in the paper and run to make the memorials before our loved ones are even buried?) When you lose a family member you are grieving and are not thinking of making memorials the day of their burial or the day after. It would be polite and respectful if you would wait a month before you place your memorials on here to GIVE the grieving family member time to place their own memorial for their loved one on here. I know there are FAG guidelines but many memorial posters on here don't follow the guidelines and refuse transfers. I have been ignored many times when asking for a transfer for sibling, parents and grandparents by people who are not even related. It seems some people are just out for the numbers, how many memorials they can contribute. Lets all remember what FAG is here for and be respectful of others, and PLEASE don't make duplicates of memorials when you are transcribing the cemeteries. PLEASE check to see if there is one already made for that person. I am coming across too too many duplicates on here and many that are not willing to delete their duplicate contributions.
