I got this info from: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gazetteer2000/b/bulman/bulman.htm

Elreeta Crain Weathers probably got the info from the Death Cert.

Looking at FamilySearch.org, I found the page for her at LCZQ-64J which shows her parents as Luther Aaron Casey and Iwana Hanna.

I've made that change on her memorial page at Find A Grave.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

John D. Poulsen
Walter Calvin Barber
Buried in Rusk County Texas. I see that you posted a picture of Mr Barber on his memorial. Can you possibly give me any information as to Mr Barbers Occupation. I am asking because I have a photo taken in 1926 by my Grandfather in Henderson, TX and I am trying to find out if it might be a picture of Mr Barber.

Thanks

This is my Mother. I was wondering if you would transfer management of this to me. There are a couple things I would like to add. Like My Father and my Mother's Children (all of them). Thanks

Hi - I'm the volunteer who claimed your photo request, but the only one close that I can find in Oakwood Annex Cemetery is:

http://www.austintxgensoc.org/cemeteries/oakwood-annex-cemetery/oakwood-annex-cemetery-surnames-s-v/

Georgia Smothers B 1893, D 1957

Could this be the one you're looking for? Please let me know and I'll be glad to proceed.

Jay,
Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to me to know that we have helped someone. Thank you for that. I went back and noticed that I had Byron listed as dying in 1915....where that came from I'll never know, but I did correct it thanks to the obit you posted. Thank you for letting me know about Nova. I appreciate it. I haven't been able to do much since my stroke, but still enjoy doing the research when I can. Thanks again, Nancy

You are welcome. I wanted to mention that there are duplicates of Mccartney Find a Grave memorials in this cemetery, spelling of name differs; "Mccartney" vs. "McCartney".

RE: Harris Photo
Glad I could help. I also added the photo to the Clarence and Stanley Harris pages and created a page for Frances Harris and put the photo on it as well. William already had a photo of the whole stone on his page but it was fun finding the grave anyway.
If you know of a family member that would like to take over the Frances Harris page I will gladly transfer it.
I can also say that not even the cemetery records have any information about dates of birth or death for Norma Harris who is also on that stone. Tom

Marthena Henson Clabaugh
Nancy Pond Mitchell
Jay I spent this past weekend end seeking out our 5 times Grandmother, Nancy Pond and Grandfather, Cooney Mitchell. Nancy was the mom of Georgiana who was the mother of Scott Milam. He was the father of my grandmother Ruby Marthena Owens Trammell. With out the grace of God and several very generous people we would never have found Grandmother Nancy. The cemetery where she is completely over grown. It is now under new owner ship as of the last 8 months. But the foreman has given me permission to come any time, my goal is to clean up the area as best we can. He says that the graves will remain where they are. I am thinking of going back in the fall or early winter, to avoid the snacks and clean it up;
