Marion D. Jeffcoat - Penn Branch
I noticed that you have the name of Marion David Jeffcoat (30 Sep 1922-9 Oct 1996) in the Penn Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.. However, his obituary shows his name as Marion Darlington Jeffcoat.

Hi Laurie
Thank you so very much for putting together such a beautiful memorial for my mother Sarah Jane Goethe Parker. I can't tell you how very much I appreciate it! Is there a way I can merge this or share to my find a grave home page. I've got dad's listed but can't figure out how to list hers.

Thank you again ❤️

Suggest the following Edit
Remove the following due to no supporting evidence: Elizabeth was a widow with the following children: John, Peter, Christopher, Elizabeth, and Mary Stehely.

Change the following
It is known that they had at least four children.

It is know that they had at least four children, Lt. John Casper Golson, Sgt John Lewis Golson, Mary Golson (married Capt Rumph) and daughter Golson (married a Robinson). The given name of his daughter that married a Robinson is unknown.

Maj. Lewis Golson 32916575 Updates
Hi Laurie
Wanted to make you aware of the Golson DNA project and our recent findings through Y-DNA and land grant records.
Not related to the Gholson's as surmised by Jame Black's book - Y-DNA proof.
Only names found in the land grant records are Ludwig Colson and Lewis Golson. Lewis is english for Ludwig. No record exists of him using "John". Recommend removing John from his name.
Born in Europe not in Germany as proven by Y-DNA testing and land grant records.

While listed as the Geiger Family Cemetery, the correct name of the cemetery where Sarah was buried is Herman Geiger Family Cemetery. I was about to make a site for here there when I thought I should see if someone had created a site for her and found yours. She was married to William Muller Geiger and her parents are also buried there if you want to change and connect.

Thank you.
