Find A Grave Memorial# 105480763
I regret to say that three years after creating this memorial, I am not sure where I found the info about her. I suspect that it was probably The Atlanta Constitution on Ancestry. I was keeping very detailed notes about my work and research on Find A Grave but last year my hard drive corrupted and died. It's all gone now. I was absolutely sick over it. I wish I could be more helpful Craig.

Just Curious. This memorial has a picture, and someone has fed back that there is not an individual marker. Since I am apparently the only person doing photo requests in Westview, what photo would you like to be added to the memorial?

Katie Costello
Just letting you know that Katie is buried with her husband Pat Costello (3-17-1876 to 8-17-1931) she is also buried with Winnie Costello (6-4-1919 to Feb. 13 2005), and John Costello 9-13-1909 to 4-19-1989) Both of these two stones say Smalley at the top. Dont know why.

Grace Hamilton St Mary Cemetery

As you know, there is no headstone. The entire section is for a child/infant/fetus. Trying to find an approximate burial location can be rather complicated.
I have a picture of a headstone with a little lamb and the name is worn away. I would be more than happy to post a picture of Section T and the "tomb of the unknown child" headstone if it would be alright with you.
Let me know.

RE: b Doughtery @ StL Calvary
I would call the office and ask them for a copy of the lot card. From the online list i can only say they are in the same lot.

They are really nice in the office.

They are in two different sections. We walked the entire cemetery and only found the one William Furey.

Robert Brown photo request

You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person. I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photos for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. They will also be able to tell you whether or not there is a headstone. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!

Would love to be invited to the tree. Later on I will send the links to the grave markers or you could do a search and find my name attached to the marker on find a grave.

I am not related to John Costello. I was at the library in Memphis looking for another obituary in an old newspaper and saw that obituary and copied it too.

I transferred his memorial to you.

Your tree sounds very interesting. I would love to look at it if you don;t mind, just to learn a history lesson.

The only other Dougherty I came across at this time is a A Hamilton Dougherty. Not sure how close it was to the other. They are about four pictures apart on the framing of the camera.

I found a few of the grave markers today and am working on adding the photos. I also will enter some people you didn't have like Thomas J. Carroll Jr. I will gladly transfer any of them you are interested in.

Sure no problem. I can get photos Monday, this weekend is pretty busy. There are tons of Gorman, Sherlock, Riley, Costello and such all over this cemetary.

RE: Edward Hamilton Holy Sepulchre Grave
Ok Craig the corrections have been applied. And it's been fascinating to follow the links back to great-great-great grandparents born in the 18th century and to learn about other ancestors as well. I think you mentioned that an ancestor of yours was killed in a car accident? My great-grandfather was killed in 1925 on a business trip when the car he was in was hit by a train. The event was mentioned in an episode of 'This Is Your Life Eddie Hamilton' which was aired on NBC on January 26, 1955. I have a copy of it. Very cool to hear all of the Hamilton siblings talk about their brother who was known as Chicago's ambassador in his day by driving Checker cab no. 5000.

There are many more unmarked as opposed to marked graves in the various Saints Paths but I'm still disappointed at not finding them.

Familly Researcher
Transfer done
Hi Craig

I transferred your great grandfather to you. I happened across him when researching some Spanish American War vets that were sons of Civil War veterans. Whenever i find good info on a vets burial location and find that they are not on findagrave i always list them hoping a family member comes across them.

My account, the military and their family members will always be maintained by the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War Camp that i am a Past Camp Commander of, so those vets will never be forgotten. I see people that post thousands of memorials then either lose interest or die and accessing the memorials becomes difficult.

I am in central Massachusetts but my veterans search, especially of African American vets of the Civil War takes me all over the place online.

Glad i could help!

Take care
