Bio

I have always been interested in family history and genealogy, as well as local, state, regional and U.S. history. I have been so thankful for information I've found online when others have provided it, so want to do my fair share. Will add photos when possible.

I have photographed most of my family gravestones from various cemeteries and if possible will try to find them for others if able at the time of the request. Due to health problems, I have not been able to do as much as I'd like.

IF I have created a Memorial for a friend or family member of yours and you want me to transfer ownership, please let me know.

I rarely create a Memorial Page unless it's for a relative or someone who is close to my family; I try to guard against publishing sensitive material that might embarrass anyone and I also try to link Family Members whenever possible.

I believe it is a matter of respect to any person's life to hold the responsibility of their Memorial Page and to present the details of their life as accurately as possible.

Not all FAG Contributors always show respect for each individual life, and I really hate that. Sadly, a few contributors are downright careless and/or sloppy and do not verify details. Thankfully, the majority of contributors do try to show respect for the life of the deceased and strive for accuracy.

I try to verify details as much as possible, from Family Members and/or Obituaries and Ancestry.com and other genealogical sites. If I have made any mistakes, I appreciate it when it is brought to my attention so I can correct them.

I have verified as many of the dates and relationships as possible on Ancestry.com or FamilySearch.org, from old newspaper clippings, or through Family Knowledge that has been passed down.

My heart goes out to those who have lost the ones they most love.

And a HUGE Thank You to all who contribute to Find-a-Grave. I am very grateful for all your hard work!
