PLEASE use the "suggest edits" button on the memorial for all corrections and additions.

All transfers must be requested through the "suggest edits" button on the memorial and go down to the "contact manager" button. I follow the Findagrave guidelines. There are few exceptions. Don't jump on Findagrave and try to start collecting your relatives, I will turn you down "flat" until you are an established contributor. Contributor means just that, you must be contributing. I'm sorry, I've had a number of bad experiences.

I have been an active member of findagrave a lot longer than this bio reflects. I am no novice. I first joined under a nickname some years ago. Because of health reasons, I had to leave for a while, but I'm back.
I love taking cemetery pictures. I try to present them as I actually see them in the cemetery. I don't "fix" them. #1 because they should look natural and #2 because I'm probably not talented enough. I do try to clean the markers up (if possible) before I take the picture. If you see a stone for your family member that needs repair, please contact the cemetery and make a request, most will gladly fix it at no charge.
I've been an avid genealogist with over 50 years experience and would love to hear from you.

In the event you are no longer able to care for your memorials, please think of transferring them to someone who has been on FAG for some time so you know they will be well managed. Unfortunately, there are so many memorials on FAG without managers due to many reasons. Maybe a fallen graver, or the creator/manager may no longer have time or has health issues, all memorials need someone available to add information or transfer. It is so frustrating to try and contact a memorial manager and there is no response.

I have made my daughter steward of my Findagrave account and memorials in the event something happens to me. Deana Moore Contributor # 48992854
