RE: Seifert
Hi Cindy...
I started noticing SIEFERT grave markers at cemeteries. Are you interested in photos of those too?

Answer
I noticed you are not interested to communicate with me neither to react to my requests. In Austria we say no answer is also a kind of answer.

I noticed many requests from you - i will not fulfill any of your requests. Also my two fellows agree with my decision.

Family trees Seifert and Kruse
Hello. My paternal ggrandfather is Anton Seifert from Hirscheinstand, Bohemia, Austria, now the Czech Republik. He appears to have come over via Germany in 1903, and stayed with a Bro I.L. in Cleveland, Ohio. Any relation?
My maternal ggrandmother was Dora Mable Kruse. She was adopted before the age of five. I think it was by family, and the church links them as an aunt marrying a nephew. Uncle Walter Timm was her half brother and I even have a pic of him with my mother sitting on his lap when she was a toddler when he visited in Portland. Everything was kept hushed about the family issues. Any thing that you can tell me about either family would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Delores does have a stone because she and her husband share one, he died earlier so the stone was already there. And her date of death has already been engraved on it so that's good.

I will check the cemetery tomorrow or Monday but since she only died in July it's not likely she has a marker yet. It's generally 3-4 months unless she had one preplaced.

Arthur Seifert Photo Request Myrtle Hill
I did some checking at our library before claiming your photo request for Arthur Seifert in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Syracuse NY, and found a mystery. The library has a copy of the handwritten Myrtle Hill interment book, an index book of burials by last name (typed), and a separate book for each block showing the lots and who are buried there (photocopies of typed index cards). I found Arthur in the interment book as buried in Block 1, lot 111, grave 6, but he is not in the index book, and the book for Block 1 under lot 111 not only does not list him, but shows a Frances Glazier buried in Grave 6. I checked, and there is indeed a headstone for her. It is possible the cemetery office has further information on whether he was removed and reburied elsewhere. I would call, but I think a family member would have more standing in this. I did find his obituary in the local paper, so there is confirmation he was to be buried in Myrtle Hill. But if he's not in Lot 111, where is he, and why isn't he in the index? I'll leave the photo request as is for now in case an answer is found. MK

Jack Seifert
Hi,

My mother asked me to inquire as to whether anyone knows of her cousin, Jack Seifert? He grew up in Nashville, TN. I believe his mother was Virginia Cullum. Thank you, Shelley

Patty
grave location

please call St Joseph's Cemetery for grave locations for MOUNT CALVARY: Phone: (614) 491-4264
the requests have been marked as "One Problem Reported" mostly because of location problems.
No one wants to walk an entire cemetery to get a picture if the person that requests won's take time to get the grave location. Once "One Problem Reported" no one wants to bother. Either there is no location added to the Memorial or possibly a wrong one.
