Bio

I have been working on my family genealogy since I was in grade school. It's a fascinating hobby that really gets its hooks into you.

I am retired from both the Army and the Diplomatic Service. My wife and I split our time between homes in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and Jarbidge, Nevada.

I have been researching the lives of people who lived in the gold mining town of Jarbidge, Nevada. Gold was discovered there in 1909 and it became a fair-sized town until the mining petered out around 1941. Today it has a tiny year-round population that swells considerably in the summer. If you have friends or relatives who lived there, I'd like to know about them. Pictures of people and of Jarbidge are always welcome.

Please feel free to use any information, including photos, that I have posted on Findagrave.
