Not family or friend, just linking her to family in our local cemetery, hoping to help out some of her family! Thanks again for your part of putting the puzzle together!

Thank you so very much!!!! If I have done any memorials that are family, or friends, please let me know, and I will gladly transfer. I feel badly that my passion for genealogy has taken a backseat.

|Larry E. Barnes||RE: Wheeler family|
I'm contacting Wheeler researchers regarding a John Wheeler who married a Nelly Perkins in Habersham Co., Georgia in 1826 (Sept. 21) to see if this connects to our John and Ellen.

|Larry E. Barnes||RE: Davidson Barnes|
Yes, good idea. Some time ago I posted inquiries in an attempt to identify Davidson Barnes. It would seem his unusual first name will be a real help. I will make a note to post more inquiries. Also, I would sure like to know what caused the Coles, Wheelers and others to move from TN to Texas. Many in this group may have been struggling financially, but the 1850 census, and his will, clearly show that Eli Cole was a person of wealth. North Texas sure seems to me like a dry place to farm, but it was a new territory with cheap land.

|Larry E. Barnes||Wheeler Reunion|
I'm organizing a Wheeler reunion on Sat., June 24th 11:30 am-6:00 pm in Wichita, Kansas at the Horseshoe clubhouse in Sedgwick Co. Park. It's our nicest park with 4 fishing lakes, etc. The address is 6501 W. 21st Street which also next to the zoo. We'll also have some researchers there as well as people who are simply quite interested in the history of the family. P.S. I'm working on the theory that John Wheeler may have married in Ellen Perkins in Georgia.

We may be cousins. I am the G-G-Granddaughter of William Washington Kennedy, brother of Robert Yantis Kennedy. I have been researching the Kennedys and visited the Santa Ana Cemetery yesterday. That is some good work you have done on Find A Grave.
I come down from Williams daughter Martha Jane Hartt Kennedy, Sarah Belle Hosack, Joseph L Zerboni, Jr. I live in Anaheim, California.

Hi Folks -- I have posted a picture that I took of the little grave marker which was left for Jefferson Wheeler at Riverside Memorial Park in Spokane, Washington. I am thinking this might be your family member as listed on Ancestry. Let me know if that is so at email@example.com.

|Caroline Seiz Campbell||John Tyler Russell 1841-1916|
I have a copy of the death notice for John Tyler Russell in Vicksburg, MS on Nov. 5, 1917. I have chased this information for more than a year - only to discover that he died at my grandfather's house (his son).
John, I can send you a copy of the newspaper write-up if you send me your e-mail address. You may want to correct the Find A Grave for James Carson Russell to reflect this date for John Tyler and add to James Carson's children:
Martha A. (1843- ), William J. (1845- ),Matthew Cicero (1847-1916), Susan E. (1849- ), and Robert A (1851- )

|Larry E. Barnes||Wheelers & Coles TN>TX|
I don't know if I've asked you before, but have you found anything that would reveal a reason for the Wheelers, Coles and several George family members moving from Lincoln Co., Tn to northern Tx? It certainly wasn't a change in attitude about slavery since Eli Cole's will (Grayson Co., Tx.) shows that he left slaves to family members.

John or Linda:
About a week ago I sent an Edit to you for Find a Grave # 6169563, adding a link to his father. You should find that in your "Edits" tab at your Find A Grave Contributor homepage. If you do not, please let me know and I will resend. Could I get you to process this Edit? Or, if you prefer, you make send the memorial to me (see Find a Grave Contributor # below) and I will Edit it. I have quite a bit of biographical info on # 6169563, as well. I am a DNA relative of his.

If you will email me using this address: firstname.lastname@example.org I will send you a copy of the letter claiming that David Welcome Martin was the son of James Martin. I feel that your info on David is probably correct but the person that wrote the letter thinks differently. I will also explain my Martin ancestry.
