RE: Ross Glenn Ragan
Thank you for trying to find the grave. It was great you were able to talk to that gentleman! This is such a mystery! I even contacted the funeral home and they have no record of his services being held there. They gave me a couple of suggestions to follow-up on finding him. I will let you know if I ever find out.
His obituary even had his name as Roff Glenn Ragan instead of Ross Glenn Ragan.

I saw your name on some of the tombstone photos at Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery. I am trying to get a photo of Ross Glenn Ragan's tombstone. He died in 1946. I have an obituary that states he was buried at Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery, but his information has not be recorded at Oak Grove and a photo has not been taken.
I am hoping you can help me.

Todd Mannion newspaper article
While going through my mother's collection of papers, I found the newspaper clipping of the the coverage of Todd Mannion's death in Vietnam. The article was in the Sunpaper, 1967, and is in very good condition if anyone would like to have it. I know it's readily available on line but I hate to throw out the original.
I'll send it to you if you contact me:

This is my maternal grandfather buried in the Oxford PA cemetery. I began my genealogy hobby after I retired and after my mom (and my siblings) had passed away. I remember that his birthday was in late September but I couldn't recall the exact day. Where did you get the information on his memorial page that it was the 21st? I'd love to know for certain that that is correct. Thank you.

I saw a listing for Israel Howard and checked it out. He would be my great great grandfather. We've never been able to find I
His origin. He think from Lebanon, Pa. He was a coal burner for the forge. We were never sure him and Rebecca were ever married because she continued to collect the civil war pension of her late husband Martin Kreisler Sure would love to know more if you are willing to share.

Husband of who? #56792426
Just to clarify, the Highland Presbyterian Church Cemetery photo request for this findagrave entry may seem odd because there is already a photo. Your photo clearly shows "Husband" engraved on the the stone. Thank you for that. What we're trying to figure out is who LeRoy was husband to and hoping perhaps there's a nearby headstone or other engraving. So if you are there and could help, we'd be much obliged. TIA

Gravestone Photo Permission
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Jean Halford in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens(Memorial# 75974694).

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the non-profit Alford American Family Association's collection of Maryland Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/MDOBIT.htm.

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Jdrhook [or your full name if you prefer]

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)

Memorial 71584360
Hello,
I have a request for a correction to Edgar's parents. The mother and father listed (Alice and Melvin) are actually his mother's parents, not Edgar's. It is a little confusing because Betty was a Bull who married a Bull.
My parents were very close friends with Betty and Edgar and I have many good memories of them. Thanks so much for correcting.

John,
Without even knowing Louie, then posting his photo to be shared with the world, it is an honor for me to be in touch! I would have been 4 F back in the day before I was even out of High School (bad knees, being a clutz didn't help, female and no guts). Without you, especially being a Police officer, there may not be half as many heroes in this world. It is not easy being in Law Enforcement. I appreciate, and those who know how to admit their children are not perfect, those with honor and honesty and good intentions know very well our Law Enforcement Officers rank right up there with our Military and our Fire department employees when it comes to heroes, appreciate you and your fellow officers. It may not seem as such but, you are and so are your fellow comrades. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. So very sorry that there was such a tragedy for you, putting your life out there so many of us can feel safer. You more than make up for it with your paying forward on this website!

Much appreciation and I will share with those who knew Louie your kindness!
God Bless you also!
Claire

Jdr,
I would like to know if you served with or knew our Louie? He was a class ahead of me in High School. No one seems to have a Military photo of him and I would like to see one. We all adored him while in school. After his graduation, I lost contact. I have visited his grave, your photo is beautiful, mine was crooked. I thank you for creating a Memorial to and for him so his classmate can visit him, whenever they wish.

God Bless and I am not sure you served but am guessing you have so, THANK YOU!
