Most of the Shaums in the US trace their linage to Johannes Shaum who immigrated to Pennsylvania from Germany in about 1775. He had 9 children. My family descends from his son John (1797-1882.) John was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Ohio. John and his wife Sarah Buzzard had 16 children.
George, Amos, Samuel, Rebecca and Michael stayed in Ohio. All the others moved to Indiana: Jacob, Manassus, Adam, Henry, Christian, John, Rachel, Mary, Sarah, Joseph.

I am looking for my Indiana relatives and tryig to get them all linked up!
