Bio

I live in Dalton GA with my family and have been an avid genealogists for over 25 years. Semper Fi to all my Fellow Marines out there !!! (1979 to 1991)

I am a "volunteer" so a lot of the memorials that I have submitted are not my relatives.

If I have entered a family member of yours and you would like to manage the site, please let me know and I will be happy to transfer it to you. I will transfer ANY of your relatives to you - Aunts, Uncles, Distant Cousins, Etc... If you are requesting a transfer, please use the "Suggest A Correction Form" on the Memorial Page you want transferred. I will transfer any memorial that I am not related to. Please if you have correction or you want a transfer YOU HAVE TO USE THESE STEPS - Go to the memorial - TOP RIGHT - EDIT - ADD A SUGGESTION - add information you want added or link to spouse and parents - you have to list the memorial numbers to link.

If I have entered anything incorrectly, please let me know.

My pictures are your pictures. Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. I take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for my ego or for the "numbers."

PET PEEVE: Find A Grave "number" collectors who have no interest in genealogy or family links and refuse to transfer to relatives unless they meet so-called "findagrave guidelines". Shame on you! and... what's up with these "photo copy rights" - you got to be kidding me !!! Why put a photo out on the Internet and then say you have to ask permission. Really....

I started creating a Virtual Cemetery for my fellow Marines and then I came across Pam's "The Marine Corps Project" and WOW – she has been working on hers for a long time. Marine Corps history can be told here, even from the ones that can no longer tell their own stories.
