Bio

My name is David and I have been researching my family for many years. I have greatly benefited by the work of others on this site and my participation here is to memorialize my family while at the same time aiding others. Memorials that I have created or maintain are for ancestors and relatives with the exception of those in my virtual cemetery entitiled "Unrelated". I attempt to create a brief biography for each individual. If any information is incorrect please contact me so that I can make a correction. Also, if anyone has photos of the individuals in the memorials I would greatly appreciate them being added to the memorials. Please feel free to use any information or photos that I have posted for your own personal use. All I ask is that credit be given to me if they are reproduced elsewhere in case others wish to contact me. If any of the memorials in the "Unrelated" virtual cemeter are relatives of yours please notify me and I will gladly transfer those memorials.

I believe that we honor the dead by maintaining their memories. I once read that when we die we do so twice. The first death is the actual, physical one. The second occurs when the last person who knew us passes and all living knowledge of us is gone. I feel that by creating memorials for family members and photographing their graves that I help to keep their memories alive. Often as I wander through cemeteries reading the names on old grave markers I wonder how long it has been since someone read the name and remembered the person buried there.

Please feel free to contact me at the email address listed in my profile if there questions concerning my research and memorials. If you view my memorials and you are kin please contact me and let me know. I thoroughly enjoy hearing from distant cousins that I have never met.
