Jane Dancy
Thank you so much for the information on Jane Dancy buried at Corner Cemetery. Unfortunately, I am not the one who linked her to a husband and a child so I can't unlink her from them. The most I can do is forward the information to and see if they will fix it.

Betty Rose M.
Clifford Dancy - Walnut Hill
I will also add to Ada's memorial as her records are in the Walnut Hill Graveyard Records - The dates were never put on the stone.

David, You are welcome. I noticed that there is not a Find A Grave page for Eunice. If you want to use the photo and make a page for her, you are welcome too. Also on the back side of the Comley marker is William D Comley (1931-1931)- Grandson. I took that photo just in case. Let me know if you would like to make a Find A Grave page for him and I will be glad to upload the photo.

Hi Cousin!
Hey David!

Some years ago I got in touch with you when I was doing ancestry work on my father's side (Underwood) of the family.

I was living in Florida at the time.

I am not living in Louisville, KY.

Would love to get together sometime and maybe visit CaveHill together and you can show me around.

Thank you so much for all of the incredible work you have done on our family's history.

Old Joseph
Joshua Gordon (n.d. - 9 Oct 1950)(FG #32198546)
As you know, Joshua Gordon is buried in an unmarked grave in the Potters Field of the Richmond Cemetery.
Please cancel your photo request as the Potters Field photo on his FG memorial will be all that will ever be available.

Claudia Jansen Hartley
Me again...the military draft registration cards are the only reference I have ever found stating his middle name.

Hey David, I just discovered Frank Anthony Mathes Sr and Jr. (and III in Ancestry) are all Frank Arthur. I noticed on Frank Sr that his WWI and WWII records both say Frank Arthur Mathes. My mom told me his middle name was Anthony, but she was mistaken. So now, I (we) have a lot of changes to do on F.A.G., and photo captions. Hope all is well with you.

David, I also photographed a headstone for a Thomas Eugene Sauter (10-15-1943 - 10-16-2016), so if you create a memorial for him, I will add the photo. Sue

Hi, David

I am not sure if I have your correct and current e-mail address, so I will try here as well. I have just uploaded a photo of the new marker placed for JB and Arthur.

RE: Sorry
He's my great grand father. I never met him, he died before I was born but my great grand mother, his first wife, died when I was in Highschool so she was a big part of my life.

RE: Sorry
Yes that is Louise. "Gramps" was married three times so I'm told, the first was to my Great Grandmother, then two more times. The photo is with his wife Louise.

Yes. They are short handed like all the cemeteries but very helpful. Truly caring and compassionate.

Hi David,

It seems that you have several members of the Von Bokern family in your collections.

I think I have found more of their family photographs and a little bit of history about them.

There is this place called West Kentucky Genealogy and you can find it on facebook. They are a nonprofit who seeks to reunite families with lost family photographs.

They posted information and a photo, I there's a couple more, but I will cut and paste to this and hope that it is your family OR you might know who would want to collect these for the family.

IF it's not your people, can't say I didn't try, right? I'd love it if everyone had their family's photographs if they could.

Cut and paste this:

Hope it helps!

Ok. Take a look at this one...125873230. It appears that she is the daughter of Robt Morton and Viginia (Ehrhardt) Morton. Gotta love Find A Grave...we keep digging up more relatives. lol

RE: Charles Ehrhardt
This Virginia was born in 1934 and died in 2008. So this another Virginia.

Added by babs on Jan 23, 2017 2:56 PM

Charles Ehrhardt
Did Charles and Virginia have a daughter also named Virginia? If so, she is next to him along with her husband. Her name is Viginia R. Morton, married to James Norman. It appears that their last name was O'Leary as that name and Ehrhardt are engraved on the edge of the bench seat.

Please let me know because the stone is actually a stone bench and their names and dates are all the seat of this bench.
