|Sherryl Clark||J.M. Knapp|
Do you happen to know if the J.M. Knapp Find A Grave memorial 138595705 in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA is a man or a woman?
I am searching for the grave of a Joanna Keiser-Knapp born about 1805 and died before 1900. I can find neither hers or her husband, Peter Knapp's graves. Peter died before 1870 as he disappears from the census then and wife, Joanna appears in 1870 with one of their sons, Nelson A. Knapp. Peter and Joanna lived in Northampton, Luzerne and Columbia Co.s as well.

I want to thank you for the transfers for my great aunt and uncle Edna Maxine and Worley Eddy. I miss the spunkiness of my Aunt Maxine - The last time I got to see her alive was when I was pregnant with my 1st child. Boy she was funny.

I remember vising Ellamae and Magaret Sarah when i was little. Her name is Elizabeth Jane Butcher born 1.18.1916 in hundred WV and died 8.13.1992 in Fairmont WV. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and i can give you more info on their children and which ones are still living and who are deceased and children's name and so forth. thank you for creating this memorial...I also have a question we were always told David had 1 other child by another marriage not 2...can you tell me how you have this info and how accurate it is...Not saying yours is wrong only what we were told growing up....and i understand that facts and things grow dim with the elderly get older ....but all 3 sisters including my grandmother knew of one 1/2 brother but never heard mention of the other...and not entirely sure which one but thinks it John calvin Butcher....thanks for your time. Pamela

|Ashley Hutton||Paula Mae Ross|
Hi--I see that you added the info for Paula Mae Ross in Copperas Cove--Thank you first of all!! I see the note that has been made that she was the daughter of Paul William Ross and Belle Whitehead--I am curious is this actually stated on the headstone or is this info that was added by yourself or someone else? My great grandmother was Belle Whitehead and we are trying to find information for Paul William Ross but he seems to have disappeared and we are at a loss. Just curious if anyone might have any info! Thank you again for all that you do!!

I have suggested changing her parent to Absolom 18794706 and Mary Jane (Bauighman) Huffman 1874691 based on the following from a biographical book:
"H-1266 A. Huffman resides on section 20, and owns 280 acres of land, all of which is well improved; he is therefore an important factor in the farming community. Mr. Huffman was born in Coshocton county, Ohio, on the 12th day of April, 1823 [should be 1833]. His parents being Jacob and Elizabeth (Jones) Huffman. In 1845 the family removed to Green county, Wis. Here Mr. Huffman on the 31st day of July, 1853, married Miss Mary Jane Baughman, daughter of George and Ruhamah (Bark) [s/b Park] Baughman, and continued farming until 1866; then came to Iowa, and located where he now resides. Of the fourteen children born in this family, ten are now living--Ruhamah, now the wife of Philip Keopple; Clara, now the wife of Geo. Buchanan; Francis, Olive, Addie, William, Maggie, Martha, Samuel and Charlotte. Mr. and Mrs. Huffman are members of the M. E. Church. Mr. Huffman is a Democrat in Politics."

Hi, I added the edits you suggested. I am not sure about some of the names, as I have found Comer/Conner/Coher/Cohen on the death certs of the kids, but I did change them. Can I ask if you are related to the Greeleys of Pittston? If not, I would love to have them transferred so I can continue to untangle them. If you are, I'd love to compare notes with you! Thank you so much!
