I work for the Oklahoma Depatrment of Corrections and am on the Sparks Volunteer Fire Dept. When I was younger I couldnt stand doing History now I find myself going through the old county history books and looking for old towns and their forgotten cemeteries. I try to take pictures of everything I can because so many are fading and their are so many that were veterans of different wars. I also found that those considered to be black cemeteries are rarely documented because they were believed unimportant I find that very sad that anyone should be forgotten so if you do this to please get everyone. Everyone has family who loves them somewhere no matter who they are.
