RE: Thank You
I will share your thanks with my hubby, Jim. He is the photographer. We were successful in getting some awesome pics for others, but my genealogy guest was less than delightful. I however, did prove that the 16 graves with my family surname are not my direct ancestors, so i guess that was a good thing. it just set me back a ways. Anyway, we were very happy that good came from our visit.

There were a couple of great books in the nearby library with history of some of the farm families in the area, so if you haven't you might want to check out the one on Chckasaw County.
Best wishes,

Clements / Miller
Thank you for taking the photograph of the cemetery marker for Hugh H. Clements and his wife Mary Catherine Miller at Cedarville Cemetery. This will be a nice addition to the genealogy research I am doing / have done on the Clements family fron eastern Ontario, Canada. - 2ulips

omg, you're right, 1832. I tried so hard not to make any mistakes when I recorded that cemetery. Corrections made, Thank you!

No, I'm not familiar with any cemeteries in Philadelphia. I noticed the error in the book too for Anna... the book says "widow of", but her stone says "wife of" Benjamin, and I've never come across a mistake like that. Hmmmm...

Anna Groff Hanson
Hi, got your edit suggestion adding Anna's children. Are these her step children of Benjamin? Anna was born in 1852 and the children were only 8 to 15 years younger than her.

RE: Rebecca Gaskill
Thank you! I also sent you an edit for her birthdate of January 4... I found her birthdate in a book of baptisms for Trinity Church so I'm 99% sure it's right.

RE: William M Groff
I was bound and determined to find them! LOL! It was like a mission! There are Groff's in just about every cemetery around here (Trinity, Lake View, Bridgeport, Eglington) if the Hansons want to research that line. I'll send you those pictures as soon as I can. ps Where is Anna's husband Benjamin Hanson buried?

I'm still trying to find William and his wife. I found this in old church records, not sure what it means. Rich.

RE: Mary Hughes Hale or Mary Hale Hughes
Hi. Thank you very much. I just plain forgot to look at the 1875 census on, so I really appreciate that. Also the info about historical sources in Herkimer. I have been assuming that Anna was a sister, but I certainly could be wrong, wrong, wrong!

Mary Hughes Hale or Mary Hale Hughes
You posted a photo for memorial #55671387 in Graffenburg Cemetery. Thanks for the work you are doing.

You may have noticed that two memorials have been created for this woman. It looks like you think Hale is the maiden name and Hughes is the married name. Do you have any corroborating evidence? I have found Daniel Dewitt Hughes with a wife named Mary on the Trenton, Oneida census, but that's all I've come up with as a lead.

I appreciate anything you're willing to share. And thankx for getting into this cemetery and getting photos.

RE: Inncorrect Photo
Thanks Jim and I understand about the snow. :) Only you can delete the photo, but there is no rush. You can wait until spring and only mess with the memorial once.

Inncorrect Photo

The photo you attached to Elizabeth Whitney's memorial (# 75448691 in Salisbury Cemetery) is actually the photo of her grand daughter's headstone (Elizabeth Ann Whitney # 75448690). I have copied your photo to Elizabeth Ann's memorial and provided photo credit to you in the caption. I have submitted a new photo request For Elizabeth. Would you mind deleting the incorrect photo?

Thank you in advance for your help!

P.S. I'll delete the photo from Elizabeth Ann's memorial if you want to reattach the correct photo. Just thought I'd save you the hassle.

Hi Jim,

No I didn't send you an email. I've been in Florida the last few days visiting with family after stopping in Tennessee and Georgia also to see family. Did you watch the Super Bowl? Wasn't sure what team to go for as the Lions didn't make it but they did have a great season and hopefully next year will be better. Have a great Valentine's Day.

RE: Primeau Pictures

I have not heard of Sharon Michigan and will look on the map to see where exactly it is. I go to Ann Arbor every so often to see my cardiologist as I had a heart transplant on June 30, 2011 and spent 64 days at U of M. Everything is going great and I'm hoping it continues that way Michigan plays tonite and will be watching the game. Glad MSU won and hope that Michigan will kick butt tonight.

RE: Primeau Pictures
We live in the part of the state that they call the Tricity area. We have a Midland address but actually live in Bay County. We are between Bay City and Midland not far from Auburn. What part of Michigan did you live in?

I'm more of a Michigan University fan then a State fan but would like a Michigan team to win.

There is hardly any snow here. We did get a few flakes today but nothing that added to anything.

Thank you again for the pictures.
