I have been interested in genealogy for many years, and love the ability of being able to preserve the monuments of those who came before us via Find-A-Grave. I feel there is so much information being lost in the older cemeteries and information on the stones that is eroding away, and this is the primary purpose of Find-A-Grave to me. In my spare time I enjoy visiting cemeteries in my local area of southern Illinois and also Perry Co. Missouri, and I try to photograph the entire cemetery and add the info to Find-A-Grave. I will also gladly update links and make corrections.
