I am a native Texan, born in Gainesville, Cooke, County, Texas on 3 March 1945. I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1964-1968. I made my living as a mechanical engineer for Bell Helicopter for 41 years and am now enjoying retirement. My interest in genealogy was really kindled when my father died in 1978 and I inherited boxes and boxes of documents.
