George Landry
Dear Louise,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 89th Division, George Landry, who was from Paincourtville, LA, was also part of this unit.

I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but want to eventually publish something. Would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of George Landry (Find A Grave Memorial# 122543606) should I eventually publish something?

Thank you,

With warm regards,

Bryan Anderson

Hilda Meyers Edits
Hello there. I am married to the grandson of Mr. Alexandre Boudreaux and Mrs. Hilda Meyers Boudreaux. Hilda passed when my mother in law, Mrs Verna Boudreaux Simon Nunez was only 4 years old. Not sure why the name on her grave marker has Elda Meyers but I do know that her name was Hilda. She was married to Alexandre Boudreaux. They had 3 children together. Batson Boudreaux, Nelson Boudreaux and Verna Boudreaux. Alexandre later remarried so I will link Fadra Blanchard to his memorial. I am currently trying to locate Batson's grave site. I have an obit that states St. Ann's Mausoleum in Youngsville so I will keep looking. Nelson is buried in Texas and I have located his memorial number. Verna is still with us :-) I wanted to clarify the details of the family. Thanks for all you do to connect families. God Bless

Find A Grave Memorial# 103067006
Your Memorial# 103067006 for Tiny Lee is a duplicate of Memorial# 37698736. It would be every so nice if you would post your photo of his headstone to Memorial# 37698736 (which was posted prior to your memorial) and then delete your memorial. I do appreciate all the work you have done for the Find A Grave website.

I'm sorry, but my captsha puzzle thing is not appearing, so I can't use the edit for messages. Find A Grave says I need to upgrade my OS, but I don't like changes, so I'm stalling...

Gravestone Photo Permission
Louise,

I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestones of Alvin & Betty Alford in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery (Memorial# 38328372).

I would like to add these gravestone photos to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Louisiana Obituaries, where their obituaries are (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/obit.html.

May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Louise [or your full name if you prefer]

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)

Hi Louise
Really confusing.. Obituary indicates he is in New Iberia. and all indicated that he is.
I have seen a memorial indicating "in honor of since there is a marker" in the Carencro one... and post the obituary which would explain and also link his wife that is linked on the Carencro one to the one in New Iberia..
It is all up to what you think.. i had to share for that was a distant family member that sent me the info..
Sincere thanks
Kathy

E R Hendrix
Louise,

In reference to your question about the headstone for E.R. Hendrix.

I personally took the headstone photo at the Sweetlake/Grand Lake Cemetery, corner of Cox Road and Robinson Road in Sweetlake.

In my Cameron Parish research I've found several instances where deceased were listed as buried in Grand Lake Community Cemetery but were actually buried in Sweetlake.

I have updated the website to include Cora's Find A Grave information.

It is possible that they were moved further North after Hurricane Rita.

Hope this helps.
