It has taken me almost two years to look at our county news paper published following Weston's accident, the front page shows the accident, I don't have words to express the feelings that causes, then in the next section his beautiful face in the Obituary's then there is the "Stringtown News": I am posting what it says because I think it says so much about him because it was not written by me: "TRAGEDY STRUCK WEDNESDAY MORNING AND OUR COMMUNITY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. WESTON REESE WAS PULLING OUT ON TO HWY 69 AT THE LOWER CROSSING IN STRINGTOWN WHEN HE WAS HIT BY A BIG TRUCK. THE STRINGTOWN FIRST RESPONDERS AND THE AMBULANCE PEOPLE WERE THERE WITHIN MINUTES AND RUSHED WESTON TO THE HOSPITAL, BUT HIS INJUREIS WERE JUST TOO SEVERE AND HE DIDN'T MAKE IT. WHAT A LOSS, NOT ONLY FOR HIS LOVING FAMILY AND FIRENDS, BUT TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE. FOLKS IN STRINGTOWN WATCHED WESTON GROW UP. THEY KNEW HIM WHEN HE WAS JUST A LITTLE BOY AND THEY WATCHED HIM GRADUATE FROM STRINGTOWN HIGH SCOOL. HE WAS WELL KNOWN AND WELL LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM, AND THAT WAS JUST ABOUT EVERYBODY. MEMORIAL SERVICES WERE HELD AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. THE AUDITORIUM WAS PACKED, WITH LOTS OF FOLKS STANDING. THE OVERFLOW CROWD WAS IN THE FOLLOWSHIP HALL AND IT WAS PRETTY FULL AS WELL. NO ONE COUNTED BUT IT WAS ESTIMATED ABOUT 500 PEOPLE WERE THERE. FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS AND POTTED PLANTS WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE. THAT TELLS YOU A LOT ABOUT THE ONE THEY WERE REMEMBERING, DON'T YOU THINK? LOYD THOMPSON OFFICIATED AT WESTON'S MEMORIAL SERVICE, ASSISTED BY PASTOR, JOEY LANSDALE. LOYD HAD WATCHED WESTON'S PARENTS GROW UP AND HAD KNOWN WESTON ALL OF HIS LIFE. HE SHARED MEMORIES OF WESTON, EXPECIALLY WHEN HE COMMITTED HIS LIFE TO JESUS AND WAS BAPTIZED. HE PREACHED ON THE CERTAINATY AND REALITY OF HEAVEN AND SHARED HOW TO MAKE THE SAME DECISION WESTON HAD MADE. GOD'S WORD WAS SHARED AND EXPLAINED AS HE REMEMBERED WESTON. THERE IS A BIG HOLE IN THAT FAMILY THIS WEEK. DO PRAY FOR THEM AS THEY PICK UP THE PIECES OF THIER SHATTERED LIVES AND GO ON WITHOUT THE ONE THEY LOVED SO DEARLY.

Thank all of you so much for visiting my beautiful Weston, it is so important to me that he not be forgotten he was truly beautiful inside and out he had a soft heart and a gentle spirit. Thank you also to my wonderful Sister-In-Law Susie for creating the memorials for all of our family members and to Denise for sponsoring Weston's memorial. There are so many of us on this site who have lost our precious sons and daughters and I am so sorry for each one I have cried for and with people who have lost children but could never really imagine....now I know why it is the most heart wrenching thing a person can endure....a Mothers love is the strongest thing God created and He says His ways are not ours and we have to have faith that His love is even stronger than ours.......May God bless you all... Remembering Weston

Weston has other very special family members at FAG his Grandmother "Nana", my Mom, Rena Lee Howard. My Mom was a very strong person our family has not been the same since her passing she helped all of us with our children and with anything else she could help with she is forever dearly loved and missed by all of us and I know she and Weston were so very happy to be reunited in heaven..

Our dear Aunt, my Mom's sister Marion Ruth Franklin "Ruthie". Ruthie devoted her life to helping my Mom raise her children and then our children, we all have fond and fun memories of our adventures with Ruthie she is forever loved and missed and now has eternal joy waiting with Mama and Weston for the rest of us..

My brother Robert Dale Kilpatrick "Robbie". Robbie was well known and a little controversial, he loved a good argument on religion and politics and just about any other subject but when it came down to it he had a very good heart and held a special place in it for the elderly and animals. Robbie is missed by many just because he always had or knew of something "BIG" that was going on..
