I have lived in this area most of my life, and I now live in the house I grew up in. I began my own family genealogy research when my Maternal Grandmother passed away in the mid-90's, and I quickly became hooked on it. Coincidently enough, I have always had a fascination with old cemeteries and visit quite a lot of them where ever I go. I think it's so sad to see grave stones that are becoming worn with time and no longer able to be read anymore; which is why I think Find A Grave is a wonderful site, and also why I now volunteer as a photographer. I take great care and respect in taking photographs per people's requests. I make sure the grave stone is clean, and the picture as clear as possible. I am also very proud to help with requests for veterans graves because we are a military family. I live quite close to the Mountain Home National Cemetery, and have 7 family members buried there, including my Mother. I have been researching the Sliger/Sligar and Denton families out of Northeast Tennessee, and the Bosman and Wockenfuss families out of the Baltimore, Maryland area.
