Bio

I'm a graduate student at Texas A&M University. I'm rather new to genealogy but am interested in learning more about my heritage. Thus far, I've been mainly focusing on my Hiatt and Woodford ancestors, as they're the most well-documented. I am trying to document everything I know about my relatives but am finding so many holes, even in the lives of relatives I've actually met. I wish I had started this long ago, but better late than never. I want to fill in the gaps for future generations.

I first started researching my family background a few months ago, while putting together an album of all the brides in the family to give my niece for a wedding gift.
