I live currently in Horry County, SC but have lived in many different places. I have always loved hearing about days gone by. I want to make sure the legends and tales and stories live on in my family. As families scatter to the 4 corners it seems more important than ever to have reminders of where we came from. I became interested in wandering through old cemeteries in Worthington, OH, we lived very near an old cemetery there. I daydream about the lives belonging to those old markers, pray over them and sometimes cry. Some things make me laugh too, I love it when an old marker has a bottle of Jack proped against it, or maybe a seashell or other sweet trinket.
I have been working on our family's history for over 20 years, it's like a great big puzzle fitting all the pieces together.
I have several mysteries, that I hope to solve. I'm guessing a lot of you do too or you wouldn't be on Find a Grave. Maybe we can help each other.
