Bio

I have been interested in my family history ever since my grandmother handed me her grandmother's diary from 1885 and said, "you may want to read this"... I read it and was hooked. From there, she took me on a family history journey that included a local cemetery where her family (10 of them) were buried. Thus began my love of cemeteries and a desire to chronicle the final resting places of my ancestors and relatives (and some friends, too).

Having previously benefited from the generosity of photo volunteers on Find-a-Grave, I decided to pay it forward... and have begun to serve as a photo volunteer, myself, here in the Los Angeles area. I have come to know the local cemeteries well, and enjoy helping others locate and photograph the grave markers of their own family members.

If I have posted a memorial for a relative of yours, I will be happy to transfer it to you as long as I am not more directly related. I also grant general permission to use the photos I have taken and posted on this site - they belong to all.
