Bio

I became interested in genealogy around 2000, and upon moving to England in 2001, I began going to the local history centres there to begin the research of my own family. Having knocked down nearly all my “brick walls“ in the years since, I have branched out to doing genealogy for others. In my spare time, I like walking around cemeteries and fulfilling photo requests, largely because I imagine the feeling others are getting when a much sought after piece of family history is finally presented to them. I know how I would feel! Additionally, I have a real interest in seeing gravestones documented, particularly those in old cemeteries that are already decaying past the point of legibility. I am now situated in Ottawa and am happy to take volunteer photos in and around Ottawa.
