I would love any information that you would have on the Brown line. We had also heard that James was Cherokee. Yes that would make us cousins. If you would like I have a family page that I could send you an invite all I would need is your email. Do you live in Missouri? I have a FB page I also live an hour from Sedalia.

RE: Re: Owen Brown
You are more than welcome. William's sister Eliza Ellen married George Thomas Dungan. Their son Ira Owen Dungan is my ggrandfather. Would love to trade family information. We have some of the Browns and of course a lot on Eliza and her kids. Stacy

Hi Tim,
I have made the corrections. :-)
According to the death record of your great-grandfather, John Inglis Murray, he is buried at the cemetery in Norval. I know of only one cemetery in Norval.
Yours sincerely,
Lorna Matthes - McCluskey

Thank you for the update. I'm SO happy that she finally has a marker. If I'd had the money, I'd have done it myself.

You're welcome. It turns out I didn't need help from the office or groundskeepers to find it because of the clue on her memorial. If you click the photo of the area taken previously, the volunteer listed the grave location, and also you can clearly see the names on the headstones that are on both sides of Margaret's. So I got this project done faster than I thought I would.

I was so honored to do this. After reading her bio, I intend to find out more about her. What a National treasure she is.

The only thing that surprises me is that it took over 40 years for her to get a headstone. I think the government should have made sure she had one, a long time ago!

And thanks to you for sponsoring her memorial.

Best Regards,

I would be happy to do this for you. Because the office of the cemetery is closed now until Tuesday, I won't be able to do this until next week (Saturday).

You don't know to click "Request a Photo" because this might duplicate the effort.

I'll let you know when the photo has been uploaded.

Best Regards,
