Welcome to my little bit of history. I spend a lot of time searching and researching records and documents. I take my work very seriously. For fun, my husband and I search for cemeteries. I take lots of photos, along with a notebook and pen to write down information I find on stones (just in case you can't make out the picture when it is developed). During the week, I spend a lot of my time in libraries and courthouses. I'm what they call a freak for this stuff. So much to the point that my own daughter stated that if anyone broke into our house, all they would see is tombstone pictures and think were some kind of death worshippers and run. Just to give you some kind of idea...I've been collecting any and everything on all sides of the surnames I'm researching for over 22 years now, so my office is very full! I wish everyone researching their history the very best of luck.
