Bio

I was born in Franklin, lived on Bayou Sale for over 45 years, and now am on Bayou Teche near Franklin after two hurricanes and floods in three years forced the move.

Local history, heritage and genealogy have always been a wonderful part of my life. I have been abstracting church and court records since the 1960's and am a trained archivist. As a volunteer, I donate my time and materials to repair any church registers or record books that are in need of restoration and serve as Historian and Archivist for Grevemberg House Museum in Franklin.

My reason for participating in the Find A Grave project is to add as many early graves and cemeteries as possible before they are lost to vandals, hurricanes, floods and the passing of time.

Hopefully I will provide information that will help those who live far away from south Louisiana to find the burial place of their ancestors.
